Stop engine light came on in our diesel pusher RV, we exited I75 and shut down in a parking lot. We checked our engine and found a hard coolant line had separated from the block. As luck would have it, Ring Power was just up the street! We walked over and met with the shop foreman Michael who came over to the RV and confirmed the diagnosis. He was able to order a part and get the mobile mechanic to us the next morning at 8am. He handled all the paper work with our extended warranty company and had us back on the road by noon. They were friendly, professional, and did a great job. You don't choose where you break down but if you were choosing a place to have work done choose Ring Power.

We stopped at a rest area on I-10 and noticed oil leaking down from the hub on the right side rear duals of our RV. There was quite a pool of it by the time we noticed it. It was a Friday afternoon and we called several Freightliner shops to see if they could look at it. We are full time in our RV, so we don’t have many options for leaving it somewhere. We were getting a bunch of no’s and running out of options when my wife found a Caterpillar shop just off I-10 in Lake City. We called and we were told they would look at it and let us know what it would take to fix it. When we arrived, Michael S. the service tech met us where we parked and moved us right in. We weren’t in the waiting area much more than 20-30 minutes before the Service Writer Michael C. came in and said we were good to go. Imagine our surprise when he also said there would be no charge for the work. We insisted that they charge us something for their time but he declined. Needless to say we were very happy and we were able to make it to our Jacksonville campground before it got dark. This would not have been possible without the act of kindness shown by M&M and Ring Power Cat.

We needed emergency service for our diesel 2006 Damon Tuscany motor home the day after Christmas. Thinking we might need to spend the weekend in Lake City, we contacted Ring Power and asked if they might look at it for us.

Fortunately, Tylor diagnosed the problem quickly as a pinhole leak in the oil filter. Within 2 hours they replaced the fuel filter with a CAT filter, changed the oil filter, changed the 2 fuel filters, added 10 quarts of oil we lost, and even pressure washed both the RV and our Jeep. We were on our way.

Kudos to the entire team at Ring Power CAT for courteous and prompt service and for getting us back on the road quickly.

Thank you all for going above and beyond for two mere strangers just passing through town.

I would highly recommend this business to anyone with a CAT diesel needing prompt, competent service.

There are a lot of Heavy Truck shop all right around Ring Power. We Chose Ring and were glad we did. We blew a suspension airbag and Michael and Tyler searched for the part and got us back on the road in no time. It's guys like these that make or break a business. Use them!
