First ever visit to this store on 3/15/25. What a great first impression. I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing on a Saturday (they close @ 3:00pm) and the place was packed. Outside, the picnic tables were full of patrons eating food prepared by the food truck parked outside of the main store. Inside the store, customers were being helped by a man who couldn't be more accommodating to their wishes. The couple in line in front of me ended up purchasing enough meat to feed a large family. The man who served me was the same: friendly and accommodating. What would you like? How thick do you want that cut? So refreshing to see customer service is alive and well in Rick's Custom Meats. The woman at the cash register when I checked out was also very friendly and accommodating.
Now, the product. I opted for a bone-in ribeye steak. It was a fine piece of meat, cut to my specification. I cooked it up yesterday evening and the result was delicious.
I am pleased to have found Rick's Custom Meats, and although it is a bit of a drive for me (45+ minutes), I will definitely return. Great product, great service, great people, great experience.

Such a wonderful experience. I called and spoke to Traci and placed an order for a Christmas gift. She was so helpful suggesting their most popular items. It was so nice to buy locally and not an online meat store. My friends LOVED it!! Definitely worth the drive. Hometown vibe, 💯 recommended!!

I must’ve driven by this place 100 times before I decided to stop in. Boy, am I glad I did. I tried the breakfast Cuban with sausage, egg and cheese. It was fabulous. Inside the store there’s a meat counter, lots of seasoning, jelly, and jams, a few other grocery type items. Outside, there’s a barbecue restaurant that is obvious when you drive by me when I say I will be shopping here a lot.

Just moved to central Florida and found Rick’s online. Made the drive over and bought brats, bacon, pork roast, baby back ribs and pork belly. Yesterday I made the brats (jalapeño cheddar and the apple.) WOW, just wow!! The brats flavor was delicious and the casing wasn’t that hard stuff you get in a grocery store that you have to bite hard through and it’s just awful. Rick’s brats were soft and flavorful and the casing was very sheer and barely there. And no weird stuff in the meat like you find in grocery store brats. We will never buy grocery store brats again. Today, I made the bacon. I was leery about the thinness of the bacon because we normally buy thick slices. Oh my!! It cooked up wonderfully and it was packed with flavor!! It was light, crisp and made a great BLT! I could tell it would be great when I broke a piece in half and it broke very easily. Never buying store bacon again. The butcher shop will cut your meat and in fact, cut the pork butt roast in half for me because it was just too large for our family. This place is a diamond find if you’re looking for a meat market.

This place is worth the drive! Great selection of top choice meats and I promise you there are things here you've never tried. Take the drive you won't regret it. Come hungry and eat while you're there picking up what your going to smoke tomorrow.

I drive almost an hour from my home to go to Ricks. Rick is about the nicest man in Lithia. Always greets me with a smile, his staff is amazing, and the fellas are getting to know me when I come in now. His cuts are fresh and delicious. His prices are fair and you cannot go wrong heading up to Ricks. Best meat market in Florida. Hands down.
