I picked up some beef ribs for Richards last Wednesday (4-24-24) for a Saturday cookout. Had the meat working, and for the life of me, I could not find my butcher paper. I called Richards around 3:30pm. I asked if they had some for sale. They said come on down, we have some. When I arrived, I talked with a guy named Chris. Asked him for what I was looking for, pulled off a few pieces, and told me to have a great day. Thanks for coming in clutch at the last minute. Ribs turned out great.

5 out of 5 stars!! We had two custom cut ribeyes, a pile of the jalapeño poppers, a couple trays of the stuffed mushrooms and a pack of the steak cut bacon... and it was all incredible!! The selection there is phenomenal!!

$4/lb for the best dog bones money can buy!

Richard's meat market sells the leftover bones as dogs treats and will gladly cut them up to whatever size you need for your pup. They don't need any preparation before eating, as they are fresh with good amounts of meat and bone marrow juices that really make this a wonderful treat. Way better than the dehydrated bones you can buy at bigbox stores and far more nutritional at a fair price.

My dog absolutely loves these bones and I'm a happy repeat customer.

First visit was with friend couple of years ago, moved to area and returned to market to see what offered. Once got past the seafood smell, looked over the meat selection of which the bacon was fatty and brown, the chicken was brown and at this time only needed one pound of hamburger. Another young patron was bragging on the quality, however, his product came from a tote under the counter of which all his beef was a fresh red in color. We had a different clerk and when got our one pund hamburger home, started to break up in the pan, very dark brown inside and smelled old. As far as i am concerned, will never return if the market wants to sell its old product disguised with fresh meat rapped around it. I can go to Sams club for that trick. Highly disappointed and will never return. Never.

This place is my goto for all my steaks and seafood. Today I received my order of freshwater clams!!! Thanks Richard! Y'all always treat me great! I highly recommend this place for so much more than just a special cut or something specific. They have a wide variety of deli and meat... not to mention produce and sauces

Well. Service is stellar, I will say that. Genuinely lovely people work there. BUT.
I chose a real butcher over everything else because I thought I was living in the 1950s, apparently. I wanted to reduce my plastic usage.

The bulk soup bones I asked for from the fresh case were given to me in a plastic bag.

The frozen livers I bought in a frozen package (there were 4) were EACH individually wrapped in plastic, and then the whole thing was also wrapped in plastic and laying on a Styrofoam - plate?

I can't even.
