Richard just delivered our new dining set. He allowed us to be decision makers throughout the process and the result is unbelievable. He educated us about wood, proportions, and shared the process regularly on his instagram stories. Being able to see the table in various stages of the creating process kept us anticipating it arrival knowing it would be constructed with strength and care. Richard did a wonderful job designing, building, and finishing the table. He gave us great care instructions so we know this piece will stand the test of time for our family. Richard’s work is IMPECCABLE. He has a true talent and eye for beauty. He made a 10 foot butcher black bar top for us that is the centerpiece of our kitchen. When we were first married I was gifted my great grandmother’s dining table. It had been in the family for over 100 years and had all the beautiful design and wear and tear that comes with a well loved piece. One night, the pedestal legs were pushed too far and I sought Richard’s help in repairing this piece to its former glory. Richard did an amazing job of restoring this family heirloom and adding years to its life. I am so thankful to know there is a craftsman of his caliber to craft new and beautiful things but also to restore old and beautiful pieces.
