They get all of the captures you need to turn the finished video into a cinematographic work of art. Darren is easy to work with, flexible and amenable to any last minute changes that are bound to happen on site, always pleasant and polite to guests and vendor team alike. And the finished product is always amazing, capturing the real essence and feel of your big day. I really cannot say enough good things about Reel Eyes Media. Darren and Jason at Reel Eyes Media were an absolute pleasure to work with during our wedding planning in 2017!

We were beyond excited to receive our highlight video and were so pleased with the results that we shared it with our family and friends. I was blown away by how wonderful the videography was and how the video memorialized the magic, elegance, and beauty of that day, which is not easy to do when there are some moving parts on the wedding day. Where to begin with Darren and Reel Eyes Media...ahh. So I went to a wedding YEARS ago and the couple had used Darren as their cinematographer. When I watched their wedding video, I knew that one day when I got married, I would definitely have to reach out to see if he could film my own.

My husband and I had the privilege of having Darren and Jason film our wedding and our videos turned out absolutely perfect. I didn't even tell Darren what I liked/wanted/envisioned/or anything like that and he created something that was greater than anything I could've ever imagined. He made us laugh, cry, smile, and reminisce on our incredible day.

The Reel Eyes team came highly recommended from our wedding planner. After thinking we might save some money by not having a videographer, we decided that we really wanted a video record of the day. Our planner sent us a few videographers to review and the Reel Eyes videos spoke to us in a way that none of the others did. They were personal, authentic, fun and romantic all at the same time. Nothing felt cookie cutter and all of their videos made it look like you had missed out on the most amazing and beautiful day. On the wedding day, Jason and Kyle were completely unobtrusive, seamlessly working alongside our photography team. We just received our highlight video and are completely blown away. Seriously, we have had permanent smiles and happy tears flowing for the past few days as we relive our wedding day. Darren takes such care in putting together these videos. Where do I even start with Darren and his team at Reel Eyes Media...

When my husband and I set out to create a wedding budget (yikes), we both agreed that we would put the highest importance on our memories. Namely, the photography and video. However, we came with the attitude that "pictures are priceless" and would default to dropping video if we just couldn't find a videographer that we liked. Our notion was only confirmed after a handful of portfolios that we (well, I) viewed. It was clear the videographers were talented and their resumes were lengthy to say the least. But none showcased what I was looking for when it came to the biggest day of my life... and they all were more than double our budget. So, dropping video became a close reality. I can not express what a huge mistake that would've been for us. And I mean HUGE. Coming across Darren's portfolio (the last desperate attempt to see if it was worth it) was exhilarating, emotional and exciting. I only took one look at one of Reel Eyes Media's highlight video. One. And I knew we hit the jackpot. I had goosebumps and got choked up watching a complete stranger's special wedding day. And that's the same reaction I want when I go back and relive my day through these videos. What I personally felt the other videos lacked were the speeches, the vows, really any spoken word! All of them were pieces of film from the day set to background music. I want that, too, but I want the memories as well! The story! And all of that comes down to sheer editing skill.

First of all, Darren and his crew were barely noticed and so discreet throughout the day.... yet, they were every where and covered every singled special moment at every angle possible. Even my photographer told my planner that they were good because they were already getting shots that she was going for. And because they were able to get so much footage, they were able to create such incredible highlight and feature videos. When our best man was referencing his father who married us in his speech, Reel Eyes already had another camera to capture his father's reaction...as well as ours! The techniques Reel Eyes uses makes for such emotional storytelling. It's unbelievable. In fact, my brother (a graphic and digital artist) showed our highlight to a few friends and had to pronounce that if he wasn't there at the wedding himself, he too, would think that the whole thing was staged! The highlight and full feature are made like a movie you would pay to see. They're perfect. We love sharing our story through the videos with others, we love reliving our big day by watching the clips that Darren sent us (and we watch them over and over daily), and we can not wait to share this with our children one day. Darren's talent, dedication and love for his art is apparent in the way he stays fresh with his skill set and on top of the industry's technology. He and his team are worth every penny and he delivers far more than what is stated in a contract. When a bride is exhausted from all the details that come from planning, the last thing she wants to do is pick songs for a video. Darren takes the guesswork out of every thing. Yet, creates something so personal. There's not one thing I would change about our video. And I only wish for others who are about to experience the biggest, most special moment of their lives to have a priceless momento as we did.

My family and I give very high priority to film/photos, and I knew I wanted to have a videographer for my wedding from day 1. I watched countless short films online to hopefully find someone I liked.
