I really enjoy my experience at this Pharmacy and make the trek to fill here! The staff is super helpful in processing last minute prescriptions, even when its busy. Dwayne made a recommendation for an over the counter option for relief from a cold that I fought for a while, and Laurens always friendly.

Consistently Poor Customer Service!
Called in the same refill, in advance. Went to pick it up the day after scheduled pick up. This is the 3rd time we have had an issue at this location and consistently they dont let you know with a simple courtesy call. Location may be convenient but no emphasis on customer experience. Apparently there is a pattern here.

My experience at this pharmacy was incredibly bad, worsened by my interaction with the manager, Dwayne. After leaving my doctor's office around 4:45 PM, they sent my prescription to the Publix pharmacy and At about 5:05 PM, Dwayne called me to inform that they didn't have the specific medication in stock and proposed a lower dosage alternative. He mentioned he had already contacted my doctor for approval. I stressed the importance of the medication and expressed concern that since it was already past 5 PM, my doctor's office was closed and approval would be delayed until Monday. Dwayne admitted uncertainty about when my doctor would respond, admitting possibly not getting a return call till the following week. I expressed my frustration to him, emphasizing how unreasonable it was for him to change my medication without consulting me, causing a delay of three days in receiving my prescription. I was upset that Dwayne didn't ask me first before making this decision. I would have preferred if he had simply informed me that the medication was unavailable and allowed me to take my prescription to a nearby pharmacy for immediate filling. Instead, he processed the prescription in a way that would have left me waiting until the following week. I think Dwayne's actions were motivated by selfishness rather than concern for my well-being. Rather than informing me that the medication was unavailable, he opted to put me in a vulnerable position, leading to a delay in receiving my medication instead of transferring the prescription to another pharmacy.

Fortunately, I always request a written prescription in addition to having it faxed when I leave my doctor's office. I took the written prescription to WALGREEN, where it was filled within one hour.

My doctor sent my prescriptions to this pharmacy, which I had already talked to two days earlier to make sure that I could get them filled there. I got a phone call today, saying that they were not 'comfortable' filling my prescriptions simply BECAUSE they were for pain medicine, even though I JUST HAD A MRI last week that showed I need not only hip replacement, but also, spinal surgery AGAIN! What are us older people who are in serious severe pain supposed to do now? This is bad business for pharmacies to even TRY to make decisions OVER the Doctors that send the prescriptions into the pharmacies! I will never recommend Publix to any of my many Longwood friends or neighbors. Very sad state of affairs. I used to love Publix, but, not any longer. Do not go to places that truly do Not CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING!

I was very excited this Publix open at my work and transferred all my prescriptions to this location to help ease picking up with my crazy work schedule. But due to the smaller size-its been a nightmare getting my prescription filled correctly or having the products in stock. Today was the last straw-after requesting a refill a week prior-to come to store to tell me it wasn’t ready and it wouldn’t be ready for 2 hours. The pharmacist told me it was because my insurance wouldn’t let me refill it early..but when I start pushing the issue of why I needed the refill..last time they didn’t have enough product..so it wasn’t an actual refill...she was having to give me the remaining of my initial prescription...the tech started putting it together...then when she rang me up...it was discovered my new insurance didn’t cover it anyhow...so I how I’m receiving it is the pharmacist was not honest and they dropped the balled. I will no longer visit this location-and move my prescriptions to another location and maybe outside Publix all together. I saw the responses as dishonest.

In addition, the was an older gentleman man at the front of the line needing to fill out paperwork for the COVID shot. Looking at him, I would of judge him to be in his 80s. He sat in the chair designated for the people come out for observation and the pharmacist let him know he couldn’t sit at the chair and gave him no solution other than there was chairs outside of the store he go to fill out the paperwork.I was flabbergasted the customer service. I understand the need-but to act that way towards our senior citizens....
