Prometric Test Center - Longwood, Florida

I’ve been studying for months and received a cancellation noticed the day of my exam! I don’t understand why they would cancel the an exam the day of. If you’re not planning on opening please let people know with advance notice. I rescheduled my exam. The day I got there (10/16/2024 @ 10:45) the skinny front desk lady was not there.
When I got to my seat and started taking the exam I noticed the front desk lady walking around then standing behind me while I was taking my exam. This was very awkward and distracting. I know they have to monitor, but standing behind someone while they are taking an exam is very distracting. Taking an exam can be nerve wrecking and to have someone constantly stand behind you while taking an exam is ridiculous. Why do they have cameras. Unfortunately, this is the closest testing center in the area but I prefer to go to another location instead of being distracted while taking an exam. Very rude and unprofessional behavior! In summary, go someone else to take your exams. Some people working there especially the front desk person should not work with people. I don’t understand how an organization allows rude people with no customer service skills to work for their organization. Reading the other comments regarding the front desk skinny lady was a red flag to stay away from this place. Find another testing center even if you need to travel further. Stay away!!!

I had to come and leave a review because based on the negative feedbacks it’s very discouraging for persons who would like to sit at this prometric center. I’m an international student so I traveled to sit my exam at this center in November 2024 and I had nooooo issue at all. I had exam for 12pm and I was at the center by 9:30am and I was able to start my exam by 10am once there was an available seat. All you need to do is show up on time, have your exam requirements and ID, and that’s it!!! You won’t have any issue if you just have all u need. I strongly believe most of these negative comments are from persons who are just so miserable, persons who love things to go their way and then one little mishap they are ready to flood the internet with negativity. A guy came at the exam that day very late and had so many excuses so he had a hard time getting in, he was lucky that they gave him a chance. Someone like him will be here to leave a negative comments when it was HIS fault. So please show up on time and do the right thing and you’ll have noooo problem. No one kept hovering over me while I was doing my exam, it was just peaceful n great.

I had a disappointing experience at Prometric. When I arrived, I found the atmosphere to be unwelcoming and unprofessional. The receptionist, Terry, and another lady whose name I can't remember, were both rude and abrupt. They refused to let me take the TOEFL test because of my ID, even though I had a valid ID (Driver License) and credit card (Secondary ID). They requested more IDs, but the instructions on the Prometric and ETS websites were not clear. I tried to contact them for help to find a solution so I wouldn't have to forfeit the exam. While I was on the phone, another lady (not Terry) came over and kicked me out. She even threatened to call 911, which was completely uncalled for.

Institutions like Prometric should prioritize customer service and handle situations with respect and diplomacy. These qualities were clearly lacking during my visit.

Ironically, the test center is for professionals, and all the staff is very unprofessional.

I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for Prometric Corporation to reflect and improve.

I went to this testing center for a USMLE board exam and was really impressed! They called me the day before my test and told I should arrive between 7:30-8 am for my 8:30 am test. The check-in process was a breeze and I got to start my exam early. The proctors were very nice and helped me get in and out quickly for each of my breaks. As a heads up, if you need to use the restroom it’s a bit of a walk, so be sure to keep that in mind for any scheduled breaks! I had a great testing experience here and would go definitely go back again 🙂

If I could leave a zero I would. No one is here. My test started 15 minutes ago. No one answers the phone. The door is locked. Unbelievable

The representative gave me two wipes to wipe down the desk after my exam before he processed me out . He placed the head phone I used on the cubicle wall without cleaning it.

This only star is due to some employees who are not to blame but I am going to mention a lady who should not work there or anywhere, her name is Carmela, she has no idea what good customer service is, I had the opportunity to go and deal directly with that lady Carmela and she is discriminatory, offensive, she speaks with a rude tone, there in that office there is not a good atmosphere nor good treatment by some employees I do not have the name of another thin lady who is there, not there There is inclusion, they even seem racist. If you have the opportunity to take your test at another branch, do it, don't go there, you need a good, quiet environment where you can express yourself with a good tone of voice and with respect. They don't know how to treat the public.
