I took a chance on a random search result of a local custom welder in the Hayward area. I was not disappointed working with Ismael. Upon meeting him he was very punctual, very polite & friendly, as well as professional. He listened thoroughly to the concerns and needs of my application and understood the "mission". As you can see I have a military truck bed that I wanted to have more storage space within. When floor space is limited, sometimes you have to go up. I needed a luggage type rack to cover half the length of the bed. This rack had to be sturdy enough to support human weight as well as heavy totes etc. After trusting Ismael with my vehicle for approximately a weeks time. With his fabrication skills he developed the design, provided all the necessary steel, constructed a perfect rack along with custom stake pocket legs to seamlessly unite with the truck bed. He even crafted the rack system to be removable thru the use of bolt securement. When I say that this rack is heavy duty, it would be an understatement!
His turnaround time was faster than I had expected, yet, exactly within the timeframe given to me. The welding itself was very good quality. The alignment & fit was perfect in my opinion. I tend to have an eye for things that are not quite right or off or imperfect and I could find nothing to complain about from his work. He took the vision of what I wanted, from my head, and created it perfectly. Given the amount of work he has done on this rack and the end result, his prices are very reasonable. If he was capable of powdercoating I would use him for that purpose as well...
Quality welding professionals and their skills are almost a lost art. It's getting harder & harder to locate them. Once you do, you try to pay them accordingly and use them often so that they are always relevant and there when you need them. All the boxes are checked when it comes to working with Production Welding (Ismael).

(Update to my last review). I went back to Ismael to add two support legs in the center area of my truck bed rack. Since the width of the rack is so long, I was afraid too much weight would cause some sagging of the rack. I plan for the worse or overthink things at times. I envisioned a simple design and Ismael had other plans. Without even having the truck in-house and only measurements, he crafted a custom ornamental type support leg in my opinion. Thick steel, rounded edges, great welds, snug fit etc. I don't think that he can take on a job and do mediocre work. You are going to get precisely what you ask for, but probably better!

I found this companies information on google. I reached out to them and requested their services. I was greeted very professionally. My shopping enter was visited by the owner the next day or maybe even the same day. The issue was resolved. My trash enclosure doors were broken. Ishmael welded them together fixed the hing and the locking system the same day and submitted an invoice. All this before even he knew me. Later he sant me the invoice and I gladly paid him.
