As a business owner in SWFL, I was initially excited to work with this company. Their local presence and professional first impression gave me confidence. I entrusted them with my concept, sharing my intellectual property (IP) despite their refusal to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)—a red flag I should not have ignored.

In hindsight, the intake process appeared deliberately misleading, encouraging me to proceed into R&D without any upfront disclosure of associated fees. By inviting full transparency of my concept, the company created the impression that the process was free of charge, only to introduce unexpected costs later. This approach preys on uninformed consumers and places them in an unfair and vulnerable position.

The process initially seemed smooth with an intake call, email follow-up from their R&D team, and a hand-delivered concept sample that truly impressed me. Their chemist’s work was excellent, and seeing my vision come to life after over a year of dreaming was thrilling.

However, the positive experience ended abruptly when, two weeks later, I was blindsided by an email demanding a $1,500 R&D fee before moving forward. This fee had never been mentioned during any prior communication, nor was it disclosed on their website.

The materials and labor involved in creating my concept—simple activated charcoal and inexpensive components—could not justify such an inflated charge. Leadership failed to communicate these fees upfront, displaying unprofessionalism and a lack of transparency.

When I proposed a fair compromise—committing to purchase an appropriate number of units of the product to cover their costs and move forward—they declined, effectively abandoning the project and leaving me without access to my own concept. Their leadership's communication throughout was apathetic and dismissive, showing no interest in problem-solving or mutual resolution.

You are just a number to these people, and they make that clear from the start. Their lack of transparency, surprise charges, and indifferent approach to customer concerns highlight a business model that is untrustworthy. I cannot recommend them to anyone. Proceed with extreme caution.

after waiting for months for a sample i paid for i never received anything. They said they lost one of their chemist and were backed up on sample production. I couldn't imagine how long it would of taken to do an entire order. They said they would refund my deposit for the sample after a 2+ month wait but i never received it.
