We had a great experience at Prime Stones! The staff and service was incredible and patient with us. Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I recently visited Primestones WPB based on a recommendation from my installer to explore options for new countertops. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a friendly receptionist who took my information and assured me that a sales representative would assist me shortly.

When the sales representative arrived, I explained what I was looking for, and he guided me through the warehouse to view different stone options. Initially, everything was going smoothly until I inquired about pricing. At that point, I was told that the pricing information would be sent directly to my installer, who would then inform me of the cost. This confused me, as my installer had previously stated that I would be purchasing the stone directly while paying them separately for labor.

I attempted to clarify this with the sales representative, but instead of addressing my concern professionally, he made an unnecessary comment implying that I was looking for a discount. At no point did I mention anything about discounts, so I questioned why he would assume that. Only after I expressed my frustration did he finally turn the tablet around to show me the pricing.

I found this interaction to be highly unprofessional and offensive. Making assumptions about a customer’s intentions or ability to pay is completely unacceptable. Due to this experience, I chose to take my business elsewhere. I sincerely hope that this company provides better training in customer service, as professionalism and respect should be a priority in any business, especially in today’s world.

I hope future customers have a better experience than I did.

I’m extremely pleased with my experience at Primestones. I purchased 3 slabs of Crystallo for my kitchen and bathroom countertops. I visited many stone places before making my decision. Ultimately I decided to go with Prime due to the quality of the stones, selection, and service I received. Santiago was super helpful in providing me with pricing for the different Crystallos available, gave me alternative options for the look I was going for, and made sure my slabs were delivered ASAP to meet my project deadline. He was very patient and responsive through out the process and overall a pleasure to work with! I really happy with my choice and can’t wait to see how my kitchen is going to look when it’s done!!
