This place is joke for truck drivers

They have 12 doors, the others have them blocked with their trucks of the 12, only 1 to unload the 5 when you go to the door, no one knows when it is their turn, it takes 5 hours to unload, so why do they give you an appointment? We all wonder why the world is the way it is because no one respects anyone no one values ​​anyone's work

Showed up at 3pm for appointment to spend 2.5 hours inside warehouse while persons stood around talking then loaded a truck that showed up after me. Last time I’ll come here.

Professional and decent staff. This site only allows delivery on appointment time. They do not do 1 hr early check-in like all other Precision Strip sites nationwide.

Coils can be delivered in shotgun or suicide securement.
Overnight parking and restroom near check in office.

Truckers experienced know Precision Strip is the worst metal coil industry Nationwide in all their facilities. Alcoa Nucor tries very hard to beat them, but this company is top of the line with their huge delays due workers underpaid that does not load truckers, they only are there speaking among them. You will not be respected by appointment at all. I drop a load, they did not had anything on system had to re schedule. Also, I had a reload but they wanted me out of the bay. Got there at 12:17 pm I left next day at 6:42 am. I pull in at 11:12 for a 1500 appt. They started loading me at 6:16 am.

They want to pay a layover of 250$, like if we are lyft drivers.

If you book here just cancel, say broker you cannot pick up here. They will make you lose one day of work.

The video was their bays. Nobody loading not a crane operator, not an employee in window.

Drivers! this facility operates strictly on appointment basis,if you arrive on time,check in on time,you should be out of here relatively fast. System won’t let you check in early or late. Communicate with your dispatch and broker about the appointment. Be safe out there!

APSOLUTE IDIOTS, TRACKER AVOID THIS PLACE. Driver show up with the paperwork, after thirty minutes of rejecting him they finally figure out what is the load that supposed to be picked up. They said they have load but he need to wait 5 hr to be loaded. Load was 4 coils on skids. After 5hr of waiting they said they can not load him because he is with dry van and that was same guy (idiot) who saw trailer soon as he came. Just unbelievable.

They honestly don't care wether you are there 1 hour or 6 hours. There is kiosk for checking in , but you can't check in Until 3 minutes before your delivery time... then it tells you to see the clerk, who doesn't even look up from his computer, just looks at your paper and hands it back.

The reviews here always make me nervous, so this time we came armed with a bag of Jack's sausage biscuits and a plea to get unloaded before our 4pm appointment...we arrived at 9:45am and pulled in to unload at 10:30.

I'm not saying you have to bribe them, but I am telling you we got unloaded 5 hours early. As I told my husband, I had an insufferable coworker once that won us over by bringing in bacon in the mornings. It's hard to be in a bad mood receiving a food offering. Use this information at your own discretion, the Jack's on 77 by the interstate has truck parking.
