Jeff Jones in service and Trish in parts have been very helpful in providing a new voltage regulator for my Powertech generator in a 1991 BlueBird Wanderlodge Motorhome. Jeff performed a miraculous task of leading me through major rewiring of this old generator with great patience - Jeff in Leesburg, Florida and me in Alamogordo, NM. Friday, March 6th I was able run the generator outside the coach and adjust the voltage to exactly 121Volts AC with Jeff's directions. It now performs perfectly like new with 7,900 hours on the meter! Now, Jeff has the upcoming challenge of leading me through changing out the rear bearing - a task we understand should add many more thousands of hours of reliable generator performance. With magnificent help from his hospital bed, Jeff Jones enabled me to complete replacement of rear bearing, additional rewiring, 4 relays and a solenoid! These gentlemen came to repair a generator on a motorhome next to us at a campground. My 9 year old son loves engines. Instead of being in a hurry and asking him to stay back they encouraged his curiosity and took the time to explain the parts as they took them off. It was amazing. Anyone willing to do that has gone above and beyond and I'm confident they would do great work.

— Lesson learned - Don’t let anyone set up your gen set unless they know how. My food truck builder connected my gen set to the incorrect fuel tank causing the fuel system to take on a lot of air, which caused my gen set not to turn over.

—Nico, my sales rep, and Jeff, gen set engineer, sent me a list of local businesses that were certified to work on my gen set from power tech. The gen set tech was able to get me up and running in less than 5 mins.

— The whole power tech team was quick to respond and helpful every set of the way. Thank you again. Looking forward to my next purchase in the future.

We own and operate Dreamworks Custom Coaches, and sell a few generators a year. (Not a large market customer). We had a small issue on a unit not being exactly what our client ordered. I called Nico, our sales rep. Nico and Bill in engineering were top notch in helping our shop resolve this issue. Correspondence after hours, the whole nine yards. Couldn't have ask for better customer support.
Initially, I was aggravated with the problem. But in the end, I think more of Powertech now than before. Hats off to Powertech and the staff.

I really wanted to have a positive experience. We had our build take a long time due to Covid and the generator was only used a few hours by the time everything was up and running. Then after using it for only a couple days generator won’t start. Only 15 hours on it but because it’s out of warranty by 2-3 months Powertech said they won’t cover the problem. I get there has to be a cutoff point but a generator only minimally used in moderate climate and only a few months out of warranty is very unfortunate customer service. Now we have to pay out of pocket for a problem that is not our fault.

I have an 18 year old Powertec unit that has never had any problems. After service by an RV dealer, it wouldn’t start. I called power tech and Jeff diagnosed it over the phone, immediately sent me a mobile repair tech and Mickey had the problem solved in a few minutes. This is amazing service by wonderful people. The RV repair place had broken the fuel line.
