We came here after going to the Boyce Thompson arboretum and wasn't disappointed ❤️ we sat outside because there was a band playing and it did take awhile for a server to help us but after that everything was awesome ? the food and drinks and music was such a fun experience ?❤️ definitely coming back here?❤️

Update Apr 19 2024. Another good lunch experience. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. Having grown up in suburban Philly I can say that Porter’s version is pretty darn good. Needs a tweak, though. It’s served with provolone cheese - lots of it. Too much in fact. Makes the Sammy heavy and overpowers the beef. I probably could have asked for a substitute had I known. If it were up to me I’d serve it with plain old American cheese, and not too much of it. Friendly staff, as always. Cold cold draft beer. My wife had the taco salad with ground beef. Huge portion. She loved it. Still 5 stars. New pics attached.

Update Jan 27 2024. Live music, Saturday, lunch time - and the place is packed. Plenty of outdoor seating on two levels even though there were no inside tables available. Our party of four had wings, beef nachos and I had a turkey Sammy with Swiss on rye, side of fries. Ice cold draft beers. Excellent service, as always. Pics attached.

Updated Nov 8 2023. We’re back in AZ for the season. Had lunch today at Porter’s. Are you kidding me? My Club Sammy could feed four! HUGE. The deli meats were nicely chilled and the bacon crisp and tasty. I had mine on sourdough bread. The fries are simply great. My wife had ground chicken cheese nachos. Also a huge portion. Our beers were ICE cold. Fast friendly service. Good prices. Good value. Pics attached.

Stopped in for lunch on the way back to San Tan Valley from Globe. Have never been to Porter's but we decided that today was the day. Crazy busy at noon on a Wednesday. No problem finding a table. Initial service was fast but food delivery after we ordered was slow - somewhere between 20-30 minutes. That's ok. We enjoyed having time to chat and the atmosphere. Portions are HUGE. Our burgers were no less than 1/2 pound of beef. Mine had a wonderful smoky taste. I ordered the Superior Burger which was topped with very fresh onion, lettuce & tomato; cheese; just the right touch of mayo; giant green chilis and thick slab bacon. Excellent burger bun. The side of fries that was included was also large. Great prices considering the quality and portion size. Good selection of draft beers. All-in-all a very nice experience.

Such an amazing building and location. Tucked into the city, but just off of the 60. Drinks are on the weaker side, but still good value. Typical bar food, but when you combine the atmosphere with the amazing views, it’s a no brainer to stop in and have a cocktail on the outdoor patio. The Service was amazing!!!! We were worried when entering the building and the sign read that due to Covid, service may be slower that usual, so we were prepared. However, to our surprise, our food came out extremely fast. If your reading this review, then take the next step and give them a try!

Update: a year latter and its even better than before!!!!! Could not have been more happy!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

This is probably the nicest place in Superior AZ. They have live music on occasion. They have in an outdoor seating and a pretty cool.
Party area where the band plays below the restaurant. It would be a great place to have a party.

Reasonably priced, everything on the menu is under $20, except the bottomless Mimosa, but come on... it's bottomless.?

The last time I went there for lunch & I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was dry & the meat was just not tasty. In all fairness, my husband had the same thing, and he had no complaint or compliments. The Club and French fries are great.

Overall, sevice & food are kinda hit & miss.& it can be a bit loud. Still, as I said, it is the nicest place in Superior, so I will likely visit there again.

We came in town & stopped by. April & the rest of the staff were such a vibe. Food was delicious. Can't wait to come back. Drinks were amazing I highly recommend the Mexican candy shots ?

This is definitely more a bar than a grill. The atmosphere is good, clean and the staff are helpful.

Now on to the food. The prices listed within Google are very old. Be sure to double them to get to the correct pricing. This is going to be a brutal review, so you have been warned.

The food looks innocent on the menu as we got there on a Sunday and given the brunch menu. My wife ordered salad. Just plain salad with ranch on the side. $8 for a side salad size in a small bowl. The veggies were fresh and the salad was crunchy....just a very small portion.

On to my brunch item. I had the red beef tamales with 2 eggs on top with cheese and a huge side of refried beans. Presentation....this looks so good! I was impressed with it. Eating it was another chore. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the tamales were store bought and thawed out in the microwave. I could not cut the masa with my fork, had to use the knife. Could someone show the chef how to wrap the tamale in a wet bar towel and then microwave it?

The red sauce came from a can....dunno what brand but it was bright red and very spicy, not the dark red of the conventional Mexican brands with that mild spice and tempered red sauce.

If you want a beer this a great stop. If you are looking for good food, this would not be my first place. We are still trying to figure out how this place got 4.5 stars. Should be 3 or 4 solid stars.

I just want to take the time and thank the staff as well as costumers who rushed to my aid as I fainted in the restaurant yesterday and called the paramedics. I already really enjoyed this place prior and just yesterday it made me realize that they are also filled with amazing individuals. So for that I am really thankful and apologize for any disturbance it might of caused to any of the costumers or staff. I am okay by the way and just have to watch my health from now on. Food, drinks, and atmosphere were GREAT AS ALWAYS! THANK YOU ❤️
