Bought a matching sofa and chair leather recliners from here and I am very disappointed with my purchase. I've only had my furniture set for a year and it is fading. Real leather doesn't fade easily so I scouted out the manufacturer tag I found hidden deep inside the furniture and to my surprise it's made in China! I paid about $2000 for Chinese trash. I contacted Pondarosa Furniture and they really weren't any help in resolving the matter.

If a once reputable company puts an expensive price tag on Chinese trash ripping American buyers, please buy your furniture else where. I don't like to pay big bucks for cheap stuff! I don't want this trash in my home anymore!

I've bought several pieces of furniture from here years ago and all were of good quality. However, years have past and the quality of their furniture has diminished greatly.

Bought a recliner from them. Just as warranty was coming to end had a small thread come loose. They took care of it no questions asked. Repair done in my house.

The furniture is not the same quality they carried before the fire. Be careful before you sign a contract with them. They will give you misleading information. If you question what was said the salesperson will say you misunderstood. Make sure you recorded or get it in writing. You have been warned! I will not shop with them again. Honest is the best policy.

We told them we would pick up next day after 1pm. When we arrived, it was not ready, they had to take bed apart. Waited an hour before it was even loaded. When it was loaded, it was not even wrapped up and of coarse it got scratched. Do not recommend picking up . Very disappointed.

We've always bought all of our furniture from Pondarosa & love it. They have a better variety than most stores around & if they don't have what your looking for they will try to find it & are great at matching prices if you find something elsewhere. Any time I've ever had a problem with something I've simply contacted them & they resolve any issues. We love this store & will continue to give them our business as well as all of our family & friends. Everyone should support our small businesses more.

I've also come to find out that some people (not all) who leave negative comments/reviews have not tried to contact Pondarosa to resolve their issues (or have and they've taken care of the problem but the people still want to gripe bc that's their nature) but try to take it out online, which is very unprofessional for "adults" as Pondarosa takes care of every problem that is called about. They also try to act like Pondarosa makes the furniture, which NO furniture store around does. They are all at the mercy of the manufacturer they are purchasing items from and yes, some do come from over seas and it takes a while to get her, as does ALL GOODS FROM OVER SEAS so again, no stores have control of merchandise they don't manufacture in house. The same goes with getting replacement parts from overseas. If you want to know where something is made, just ask. If it doesn't have a made in America tag, then it's not.

Pondarosa is a great store and the staff go out of their way more times than not to assist customers, from working with them multiple hours a day for consecutive days to simply helping you find the piece you've seen online & cant find anywhere else! If you haven't already went by then you should go check them out today. A great group of friendly, knowledgeable people!
