I was rejected twice now cause each clerk wants something different. I drove 2 hours to get a warranty deed recorded. Called 4 times to have a clerk walk me through needed items on the deed which I complied with. They say when you call for information that isn't them. Who is it then. I was threatened with if they recorded my documents itvwould go to appraiser and rejected,seek legal counsel when this document was made out by an attorney. They don't know what a warranty deed is,don't go there. I went to a different courthouse without issues. So so Ryde and bad!

A bunch idiots work here. They misinformed me of what I need to file paperwork. They say one thing on the phone and then I drive 2 hours to get there and they say it’s not right. This is my 2nd trip here and ill have to come back again. Management need to handle this staff.

I went to the other location and had no problems there.

Polk County clerks office

To whom it may concern,

My husband and I went to the Polk County clerks offices to file a small claims petition. Kayla of your office sent us to the Osceola county sheriffs office with our petition. When we arrived at the Osceola Sheriff's office, the young lady at the front desk apologized profusely. She stated that on numerous occasions she has called the Polk county clerks office to tell them, they are sending petitioners to the wrong office. The young lady then gave us the two Courthouse Square address in Osceola County sheriffs. We noticed that the young lady even gave us what looked like a label with the correct address on it and she made them herself. Confirming that Polk county does send people to the Osceola sheriffs department.

We are very fortunate that we have a car that can take us everywhere. But when somebody files a petition for Small Claims, and then is sent to a wrong address, that's an issue. That doesn't show respect to the people you serve, less fortunate and elderly . I hope that your offices can address this concern as soon as possible .

Margaret was great. It was very busy, and she came out and advised everyone to apply online wherever possible. Also gave advice to a few people who just had questions. When it was our turn, I was happy we had everything she asked for ready, and Margaret processed our application efficiently and promptly.

We went to the Lake Alfred location. The clerk said that she didn't have the documents that we needed and no way to print them out! What? She said that we would have to get them from the website. We told her one. We tried to find the documents too. We didn't have a way to print them so we were asking somebody else to help us and they couldn't find him either. We asked her why don't you have copies of them here? She said because I just don't. It wasn't very helpful.
