This is the second time I’ve used Meru, once for engagement pictures and once for wedding photos. I cannot even put into words how amazing she is! My husband and I have never taken professional pictures together and she made us feel so comfortable! I wasn’t sure what to expect because we aren’t the most comfortable at posing and taking pictures together, but when I got the pictures back I was blown away! Words can’t fully capture what an amazing experience it was to work with Meru and Elvira. My fiancé and I had our engagement photoshoot with them today, and it was truly unforgettable! Meru and Elvira were INCREDIBLE to work with. Meru did our engagement photos and was so kind to us, made the shoot so personal, and was incredibly helpful throughout the planning/shooting process. When shortly after we were choosing a wedding photographer, it was a no brainer, we wanted Meru! Elvira was also so wonderful in building a videography package that would work best for us and our day. These two work so beautifully together and that made our special day feel so seamless. We would HIGHLY recommend using Poem of Us to anyone getting married in the Keys 🙂

THE BEST EVER. I am so glad we found Meru and Elvira (Poem of Us), they were both exactly what we were looking for in photos and video. Their vision is so unique and really do capture the essence of the moment. Additionally, they are SO FUN to work with. We got to work with them for our engagement session as well, where Meru went above and beyond by seeking locations, themes and even outfits for us to wear! They were also so accommodating to our needs and wants on our Wedding Day! I am so sad our time working with them is over!

Planning our destination wedding from afar was not an easy task but Meru & Elvira were so responsive and easy to work with. My husband and I were so at ease the day of our wedding because we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing. Meru told us exactly what she wanted/needed from us and the photos came us stunning! We received our edited photos just over 1 week out, I was shocked at how quickly but beautiful they came out. They worked with our time and budget so well and never pressured us to do anything more than we were able to. Cannot recommend a Poem of Us enough. Thank you so so much xxx

I will update this review once we get pictures and video, but I am so happy we hired Meru and Elvira from Poem of us. They were the sweetest women and have a unique vision. They were so kind to my husband and I throughout the process. I'm very uncomfortable with a camera and they helped me source outfits and find poses. The day of the wedding they were incredible - when I first saw them they had set up my flower girls in a pose that nearly put me to tears it was such gorgeous composition. I hope to find an excuse to work with them in the future and I CANNOT WAIT to see pictures/video of the event. Love, love, love them - brides, you are in good hands!
