I sent my muffler for repair after the annual flagged a loose baffle inside. After sending it to the UPS I awaited for a week to call and confirm it was received. No one knew anything about it and they would call me back. I never received a call after a week or two so I called again. After about 4-5 call to them they finally found it and it wasn't being repaired, I was getting a new one. After more numerous calls and 2 months later it finally arrived with out the paperwork. I then proceeded to call several more times to get the paperwork. Total time from sending it in to completion 3+ months. Overall, the product was good and it fit well. I own an orphan airplane and my guess would be that my muffler was the used to mock up a jig to provide that particular muffler. I'm fine with all that, just be honest and keep your customer in the loop so the aircraft isn't down for 3+ months for a muffler.

So I bought a C-150 and wanted to replace the exhaust pipes with longer ones. My A&P contacted the company and they said they would get the pipes out in a few weeks. After waiting over a month, we called and asked about the status of our pipes. The company reported they would get them out right away. When they finally arrived a few weeks latter, you can see the quality of work that was presented. We called and complained about the pipes and were assured that if we returned them we would receive a full refund and new very good quality pipes would be shipped up to us for free, "to make things right", the owner of the company assured us. That was almost a year ago now and we have heard nothing from them and have not received any exhaust pipes in the mail. I'm very disappointed in this company and feel like I have given them plenty of opportunities to make things right.

Highly recommend using anyone but Plane Exhaust. They fully rebuilt my exhaust and baffling (in 4 months). Riser cracked within a few months which was found at its next annual. Shop was contacted and said they would not be fixing it as it was (approx. 3 days) over the 1 year warranty. The first part lasted 59 years for reference. I had it repaired by a local shop, I called them to ask for a %50 refund to pay for the fix, upon finding out it was fixed they asked me to send it to them "for free repair" I obviously did not. The owner is completely awful to talk to, he insulted and yelled at me for 5 min on the phone before hanging up on me. Out of spite for how annoyed I was with they're customer service I pestered them for a refund. Owner finally offered me $100 back to leave him alone (%15 or so back). I accepted the offer and never received the money. Its been 2 months so I don't think its coming. I've worked in diesel shop, dealerships and customer service for years, this is the worst I've seen from a company.
Guy who seems to be the shop manager seems like a genuine guy though, feel bad he has to work for that owner.

Let me begin by saying thank you very much Plane Exhaust. Gene the plant manager was exceptional in not only customer service but his vast knowledge in aircraft exhaust systems and the workmanship of the repair
of my exhaust riser was superb. My riser fit like a glove, and now I'm able to make it to Sun n Fun 2024. Kudos to all the machinists and welders in your staff. I will definitely recommend Plane Exhaust to all my flying buddies in South Florida when the need of exhaust systems repairs.

Wayne, Gene and the rest of the crew at Plane Xhaust are the best in the business!! Hands down, been are go to for many many years, and we have NEVER had an issue with them. They are Family owned style, make you feel like home, but professional and prompt, honest and have the upmost integrity. This is a rare gem in South Florida Aviation, and Aviation Industry in general. And us at Bel-Bac International have been in the business for more than 40 years, so trust me we have been around the block more than most.
