*unprofessional from the start*
About two months ago, I decided to put a reservation in for a larger unit. This decision came after some deliberation, primarily due to my concerns about the management of the office. The presence of what I perceived as “immature kids” running the operation made me hesitant. I was unsure if they would handle the reservation process professionally and efficiently.
Despite my initial reluctance, I received a call this morning around 9 am from the office staff, informing me that the unit I had reserved was now available. This communication was crucial as it indicated that my reservation might be honored and that I could proceed with securing the unit.
I promptly returned the call within 30 minutes, eager to confirm my interest in renting the unit. However, upon calling back, I was met with an unexpected response. The staff member laughed and informed me that the unit had already been rented out to someone else. This revelation was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering that I had made an effort to respond quickly and I was "next in line" for the larger unit.
This experience highlighted a significant issue regarding their reservation policy. While it is common practice for businesses to take reservations, there seems to be a lack of clarity or commitment when it comes to holding those reservations until confirmation is finalized. It became evident that taking reservations does not guarantee availability, which can lead to misunderstandings and dissatisfaction among potential renters.
Given this experience, I found the level of professionalism displayed by the office staff lacking. Their approach seemed unprofessional and disorganized, which ultimately led me to lose interest in pursuing a rental with them further. Based on this encounter, I cannot recommend their services to others who may be looking for reliable management, it is definitely not here!
