This place deserves zero stars if not, even a lawsuit would do. I used to work here and the hours are grueling and they forced us to work 6 days a week for 3 months in a row. I had no time with my family for the four months I worked there. My roomate had an encounter with another employee on his first week and the employee didn’t like that he wasn’t going fast enough and grabbed his hand (that had a knife in it to cut chicken) and forced his hand to sharpen his knife on the sharpener. My roommate proceeded to tell the supervisor coco and she said he took too long to tell anyone.. that shouldn’t matter that was a horrific safety issue. Not only this but they have several managers and blue hats touch chicken with their bare hands and they send out green chicken all the time which is ironic bc I was literally fired bc I didn’t see a chicken head that was in a package that was sent out but for a chicken head to make it to me (me being on the very last line before they take it to a freezer) it would’ve had to have gone through an entire other building plus 100s of other employees. But my partner who was on the other end of the machine I was on and myself were fired due to a customer finding this head and threatening to take away their contract. So I was an escape goat. They literally called me on my birthday to fire me and suggested I apply back in 6 months. No freaking way. The managers are rude and so are the supervisors..one of them literally said “I didn’t get a confession from you so your being fired for negligence” like as if I did it on purpose? The food literally gives you food poisoning in the cafeteria, they charge you for water, they have a little rinky dink water fountain that barely works that’s supposed to hydrate 100s of workers working 10 hours a day. It’s also so physically draining and harsh on your body and all they do for you is slap on some bio freeze and a bandage and throw you right back onto what you were doing they don’t put on anything else to help. They also have supervisors dating people who work under them I’ve even seen them kissing in the factory which is gross. They make you believe it’s such a great job but after two weeks you really get to see how horrible this snake pit is. There’s so much more I could say.

Checked in at 8pm they told me I need to wash my trailer. They have a washout area with a hose (not very good pressure) after the wash I checked back in at 8:30pm I dropped the trailer in the back lot and I got a call at 11:30pm that my trailer was ready. 3 hours is not bad for a live chicken plant. ?

Everything was swell up until I had to pick up my paper work. Load was suppose to be ready 2100 wasn’t ready till the next day about 0900 because they lost power. No big deal it happens but for whatever reason someone in the shipping office thought it was a great idea to have 5 trucks go and pick up their pre-loaded trailer at the same time, knowing they have a small yard and not every driver has common sense to park further away or park to the left side in one of the empty spots away from the entrance to not cause any back ups. When you’re coming back to the entrance of the facility from behind the plant you have to make a right back in thru the gate. It’s hard to tell if there’s any trucks blocking the entrance since the building is in the way. Well I couldn’t see that there was 3 trucks blocking the way thru when I was already making my right turn into the gate. I end up pulling in as much as I could so I could get out of the way. One of the security girls came over and told me I had to move up or back out because I was on the cross path I told her I wasn’t going to back up because it wasn’t safe since there was consistent people walking across the road and trucks/cars passing by. So she proceeds to say you have to back out I told her once again I’m not going to back out and she walked away saying “oh you’re going to move” I didn’t end up moving lol this is where I figured her ego was hurt or something cause then she comes back out with my bills and tells me she has my paperwork but she’s not gonna give them to me until I move the truck I said okay cool and she tells the driver in front of me to move their truck up so I could move out of the way not sure why she couldn’t do that to begin with instead of trying to give me a hard time. Then after all that she waves me down to come to the back I wasn’t aware they were going to change the pre-seal into another seal until I went to the back and she was ready to seal it I told her I was gonna put load locks on and she says you’re gonna put them on now ? I said yeah I didn’t know you were going to change the seal and she said there was no seal only the lock I said no there was a pre-seal on it I put my lock on because I thought that was it and I didn’t know I could break it because no one from shipping said I could and neither did she. That whole time she was telling every other driver she didn’t know why I pulled in knowing it was full and rambling on about God knows what, I could’ve been putting on load locks, go figure. I get it you’re doing your job but I can’t help there’s lack of common sense between drivers and the workers. I wouldn’t have pulled in if I was able to see the entrance was bombarded with trucks trying to get their paper work. Btw it was 3 trucks ahead of me and my paperwork happened to be the first one to come out lol people inside shipping office were really nice, also 2 of the other security girls were cool and they do have bobtail overnight parking. There’s a bunch of restaurants and a store within walking distance. I’d come back again but not anytime soon lol Some more posted signs where not to stop or park would be nice, painting the cross walk on the ground would help since it’s practically erased, and not calling a bunch of trucks all at the same time so it’s not a sh*t show when pulling in would definitely help.

I have been here about 6 times in the last 2 years never a bad experience guards are nice and so is the shipping office. wait times can be anywhere from 2 to 12 hours it is a live kill plant after all so as a driver plan accordingly overnight parking for bobtails after you drop your empty in the yard to be loaded. There are restrooms provided as well inside the building just follow the yellow walking path back over by the shipping office and down the walk way to the right. You can wash out your trailer on-site just not much pressure recommend having it done before you arrive could take you awhile here took me about 25 min. There is also a scale around back. This facility is more organized than a lot of the pilgrims I have been to if you ever been to the Gainesville GA facility this place is a holiday inn compared to Gainesville at least this place accommodates us with parking when we out of time and they will call you once loaded. You can finish your break if you need to they'll move your trailer to the back lot while you finish your break just let them know when they call you. It's a live kill plant no appointments they load as your product is ready so be patient. Just show up the day you need to and you will be alright here a map that might help some of you green line indicates walk path for restroom, orange is location to drop empty to load and Pink is how to get to your loaded trailer if you don't pull it from the door.

It’s not possible for 0 stars but they earned it by far. Detained for 36 hours and counting with no detention pay. Scheduled showed a 2100 pickup on Friday. When I arrived they took my information and I parked. At 2100 on Friday I walked in the office to see what’s going on. They changed my schedule without telling anybody and tried to blame it on dispatch. In 3 years dispatch has never been wrong. They manipulated the system and they don’t care if they screw over a driver because they don’t pay detention. Drivers avoid at ALL COSTS. This business uses deceptive business practices and they WILL get away with it simply because they do not pay detention.

Worst experience I ever had. Everyone who works here acts like they hate their life and work at the same time. They never tell you if they are working on your product, when it’s going to be loaded, or what’s the status of the load. You ask them how they don’t know, they start threatening you by saying we are just a phone call away from sending another truck here. I will never in my life load here again. Nor do I suggest anyone to load here no matter what they are paying.

Booked a load with a broker from this facility. Another carrier dropped the load so it was urgent to get the load out of the facility. I was told it was a live load first time to this facility for me. Ended up not being a live load. The whole facility is dropped trailer. Took over four hours to get loaded on a load that was already late. Even with tracking, the unethical broker as well as this facility putting me behind decided to take 5 1/2 weeks to pay me and shorted me $250. I will never go to this facility ever again!
