We haven't stayed yet but arrive this week. I felt compelled to write a review about the fantastic customer service that we have received with our reservations prior to arriving. I spend a great deal of time reading about hotels, researching and asking questions prior to booking. We used to stay at a location near here but it was recently sold. We decided to give Pier House a try. The team at Pier House has been outstanding with customer service. Each time that I have called with a question about a room, activities, amenities, etc they have been so pleasant and professional. Colleen and Levi at the front desk were so helpful and kind. Chuck was a huge help in assisting me with my reservation. His communication was fantastic as well as professionalism. I understand this is an extremely busy time of year for Key West and accommodations. These folks don't miss a beat! They truly go above and beyond! After a stressful year and a well needed vacation, we are looking forward to spending our special week with these guys!! Thank you all so much! We look forward to meeting you!

The hotel is in a good location, if you don’t mind being just on the edge of a party town. The restaurant, One Duval, is good but not great. Service at the restaurant was certainly fine.
The hotel itself, similar to the town, is a bit in need of an overhaul.
The staff at the hotel is more in need of an overhaul than the hotel. Front desk was less than helpful (except for a friendly and pleasant new employee). Personally, I would never sty there again. Choose carefully when visiting Key West if you’re really looking for a “4-star” experience. Pier House is not that, although I’d give it a solid 3.

Location is prime and super convenient!
Also the beach area is great, but you can come here to enjoy without having to be a guest or needing a wristband.

This is not a “cheap” resort for February (prime time) & with fees came out to around $780/night.
For the cost my biggest issues were the rooms and service. The first room we got to the AC was broken (82 F) and there was a huge cockroach on the wall. I get it, it’s Florida so we didn’t complain about the bugs much but then they changed our room and we were downgraded from a spa junior suite (and offered no compensation). When we realized, we had to go back to the front desk to tell them again so we could get the same type of room we originally booked. Mind you, I’ve never once complained about a room and I travel A LOT!

Also, there is no room service in the spa hotel rooms if that’s your thing (we were fine without it, lots of awesome restaurants walking distance). They do clean the rooms daily too.

The food at One Duval was very mediocre but it was convenient for our first night there!
We won’t stay here next time as it seems overpriced, but it was fine for what it was!

We checked in at The Pier House. Made reservations directly with Resort & Specifically stated in the reservations to please give us a decent view "NO Parking lot view". This was a higher end room- over $800 dollars a knight stating -"Ocean View". What did they give me- a lovely view of the parking lot. I'm a local & come to KW every 3 months over the past 30/yrs. We picked the Pier House for its luxury & views to celebrate. Needless to say this view is NOT worth over $800/a night. And room was run down with scuff marks on the walls, water marks on the ceiling, musky smell to the room & damaged furniture. Spoke to front desk (they were very nice but did not offer ANY COMPENSATION). Would had been helpful if the direct reservationist would had said- this room is limited with this request. Would have chosen differently. We were stuck with this room for our stay. I will stick to my local KW choices next time. They may not be fancy but the hospitality & attention to detail is better. Nice $2/k for 2 nights looking at the freaking parking lot & one dead sunburnt iguana on the roof. VERY Disappointed & I am in the HOTEL/RESORT business.

If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Key West, the Pier House is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the vibe is relaxed yet luxurious, with beautiful oceanfront views that are simply breathtaking. The staff at Pier House are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with a variety of fresh, delicious seafood dishes and tropical cocktails to enjoy as you take in the stunning sunset.

One of the highlights is the private beach, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling town. It's the perfect spot for a morning swim or to lounge in the sun with a refreshing drink.

Whether you're looking to relax or explore all that Key West has to offer, the Pier House offers the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and charm. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for a 4 day ladies’ getaway. The property was well maintained and the pool and beach were well staffed and tidy. The ocean views were beyond expectations and the food was soo delicious (get the avocado toast with truffle oil). The menu items were cheaper than I expected with very high quality. The creative menu choices were top notch. Beds were comfortably firm and housekeeping kept our room from looking like a frat boy situation. Staff was friendly, polite and professional. Highly recommend this spot as its location on the corner of front and duval streets was clutch. Steps away from a huge cvs with grocery, beer and wine. Don’t miss your chance to book with confidence today!!

We arrived here on Monday February 17. The resort is excellent and the service will exceed your expectations. Our room was ready and we were very happy that we were able to upgrade to ocean front. The views from our balcony are breathtaking. Constantly hearing the ocean and seeing the boats going by is great.
The bed is very comfortable and the AC is quiet. We are enjoying our anniversary celebration. Thank you Veronica for your help. Also big thanks to Roman who carried all our stuff to our room.

Amazing!! We were there the week before last and we are still talking about it. We have been going to Key West since 1995 and have stayed in many places. Pier House is by far the best!!

The staff is great, the outdoor bar has amazing drinks and food. The housekeeping staff take such good care of the rooms. Our room looked brand new and we had 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom with a deck to sit outside.

From now on Pier House will be the place we stay every year.
