I had a fantastic experience at the Piedmont Piano Company in Oakland. I was looking for an upright Yamaha piano and they had many of them in their beautiful showroom. I was not the easiest client as I had a lot of questions and wanted to make sure I was making the correct decision with this large purchase. I worked with Kevin, the general manager who was extremely helpful, I also met the owner Jim who was very knowledgeable as well. During the whole purchase process, I also got in contact with Roger, the floor manager and their technician Don, all of whom were all eager to help. Not to forget Taylor, the office coordinator who made the purchase transaction very easy and pleasant. All of them made my piano purchase experience much easier and I feel I got a great deal on the piano I wanted. I really enjoyed working with all these wonderful people and recommend the Piedmont Piano Company to everyone who is looking for a new or used piano.

Saw the Band of Brothers last night and it was fantastic. First time seeing a show here and it was excellent. My wife was over the moon looking at all the wonderful pianos. Meeting the legendary Tony Levin was definitely a highlight. His brother Pete was also gracious with his time.

Highly recommend anyone who considers buying a piano visiting this store. It’s really an eye-opening experience for my visit, I was able to try Yamaha, Steinway, and Faliozi ! Appreciated Ross guided us in the store, sharing stories behind pianos, and showing some very precious, rare antique pianos!!

I purchased a Yamaha piano at this place - and the experience was amazing. Shout out to Ross - a professional pianist who was exceptionally knowledgeable about pianos and music, and very patient and considerate for all of my questions and requests. This is undoubtedly the best piano store I've ever visited in Bay area.

Very relaxed and nice dealers. Just made my purchase of the Yamaha AvantGrand N1X hybrid piano. Thank you Ross and Jim!!!

They seemed honest and open for reasonable negotiations. No hint of being sneaky or pushy to make customers feel anxious unlike other dealers I spoke with at another piano dealership.

Still need to wait my piano to be delivered. Will update my review if needed.
