Guests often praise the campground's convenient location near major cities like Jupiter and Stuart, as well as its picturesque setting along the water. Visitors also appreciate the abundance of wildlife and the well-stocked store that sells firewood for campfires.

Despite these minor drawbacks, Phipps Park Campground remains a popular choice for those seeking a tranquil and enjoyable outdoor experience.

Convenient location to Jupiter/Stuart/Palm city area. We slept in the adventure tents- I was a big disappointed that there were no carts to bring your supplies over the tent (so bring your own if you can), and there are only 2 bathrooms and 2 showers- which were used heavily by the 100 folks in campers (who have full electric and water, unlike tent guests). It’s a nice spot by the water, lots of wildlife and the store sells firewood.

This is a beautiful well kept campground. I was able to book 6 nights 2 weeks out on site #18, which was lucky on our part, and overlooked the waterway. Forrest was most helpful and had suggestions for some other local campgrounds when we decided to lengthen our stay. A real treat was being able to walk down the street to watch the locks. We will be back and highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our second year staying at Phipps Park for a 3 week stay. It's great for walking, biking and relaxing. The concrete sites are mostly level and long. Full hookups and great views from the waterfront sites. Only negative is the main road is not paved and everything (Vehicles, campers, bikes, gear) gets covered in dirt/dust. There is some road noise from 95, but it's minimal. It's a bit on the pricey side considering they don't have a pool. I recommend staying here.

This is a throw back memory to when Phipps had amazing tent camping allowed, so sorry to see it go. The adventure tents were an interesting idea, but crazy buggy, hot, and too far from vehicles and bathrooms.

There was nothing better than pulling up my car and camping a night or two, with friends or solo, always felt safe, and friendly people around. The mosquitoes could be fierce if you didn’t get the campfire going in time, but I only made that mistake once.

I used to bring my bike and go riding around a bit, lay out in the sun and take naps. You could scoot your tent into the shade and an air mattress was definitely worth the investment. Another reason having the car next to the tent was convenient, I could use the car lighter adapter to blow it up. I wish they’d bring back tent camping, ⛺️ we used to go several times per year.

I didn’t give a five star rating because of that, but I would’ve given five stars if they still allowed it. Bathrooms and showers clean and safe.

Lots of good upgrades to the park. Cement pads and new bathhouse are fantastic. We had a lovely site - some are quite sandwiched in so pick carefully if possible. The road through the campground is quite rough. I would think that will be the next improvement. Also be aware of the traffic noise. We enjoyed our stay- one of the highest $$ on our trip.

I’ve never stayed in an adventure tent before, and this is something I wish was more available elsewhere. The booking process was a breeze. Checking in I found out you cannot drive to the tent campsites. The staff, who was incredibly kind and helpful, offered to take my heavy gear in a cart. I see why they do that as the campsites are beautiful without the tire tracks and parking. It felt like camping in the scout days. Bonus points for the wildlife and location. The only downside is the loud overpass nearby and the lack of activities in the park. Although I was happy to just stay at camp. Adventure tents need to be more common at other parks, I will be back just for that experience alone.

I've been visiting Phipps for nearly a decade. Over the years, it has changed significantly, but I can confidently say it remains a fantastic place. It is family-friendly, quiet, and safe. Aubrie, one of the campground attendants, is exceptionally helpful and kind. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the campground runs smoothly.

We stayed in adventure tents and they were very nice! There was a fire pit waiting for us, and bunnies hopping around in the morning. The lakeside tents are nice too. Just be aware the noise from I95 is VERY loud in the tents. If you stay here, be okay to have some noise from the highway. Overall a nice campground!
