Very nice people who have owned the shop for 40 years. I’ve been treated kindly and with great respect which I was not at the other gun stores I have been to, being an older female. I appreciate having a woman owner to talk with. She has been a great help to me and fun to talk with. Both owners and their coworker are all very kind and helpful. I bought the perfect revolver for my needs. Thank you.

Avoid this place at all costs. I went in to simply have them change the sights on my glock. The owner told me he didn't have the right tool to install the trijicon night sights as he was trying to jam the sight into a tool that wasn't working. I told him it's fine I'll go somewhere else.

I heard a snap he took the sight out and he had took a chunk out of the bottom of the rear sight. I asked them to replace it and he refused stating "it's no big deal" and "you wouldn't even notice it if I installed it anyway". They eventually gave gave me a check for the exact amount I paid for the sight minus the shipping and tax I had paid for it, (after being verbally attacked for some reason) not to mention the nearly 2 months I waited for it to get here and I bought it on sale so I wouldn't be able to buy it at that price again.

Some lady working there offered to order it from the website for me but when I went back in to do that she just started yelling at me that I had damaged the sight with a hammer even though it was new in box. (Pic in box was taken when it was delivered same day of incident) Ended up just leaving to avoid being verbally attacked again.

TL;DR
•Broke sights knowing it was the wrong tool
•Refused to reimburse full cost
•Verbally abusive, hostile

Edit! I'm glad they responded because now I'll be able to upload a video of how I was treated when I pointed out the damage on the rear sight. Her tone was so hostile and rude I couldn't believe it. Also a side note, they're claiming the damage was from a hammer but the damage is clearly on the bottom of the sight. Which makes no sense because who would hit the underside of the sight, it would be on the side.

I've been a customer of PGRS since the 1980s, and is one of, if not the last hold over from that era. every visit tends to require more than just browsing time as Terry and Daryl treat their customers as more than just customers. eventually I was fortunate enough to become a colleague when I opened my own firearm related business, which they were instrumental in helping me establish.

their prices are fair, and while they can't match sportsman's warehouse in rohnert park, the reality is that no dealer can, so what you get is experience and great customer service.

they're worth giving a shot, and whether or not they can help you, or they point you to another dealer who can, they will always try to do what they can to help the customer find what they are looking for. definitely give these guys a shot!

I think this old spot is in its twilight. There are very few shooting supplies and even fewer firearms. A handful of handguns and a couple used ones. Probably 10 long guns mostly grandpas old used shotguns.
This was once a thriving shop and a great place to stop on the way out of town for ammo and supplies before heading out to shoot but petaluma has forsaken all of these old time shops. Damn shame

Picked up a new toy here recently. Staff is great. Super helpful. Sadly the pandemic affects availability of a lot but they do their best. Super glad I found this spot. Go early. It gets busy after lunch.

This is a great place to come to get services and they treat you like family. My dad has always came here and they are very helpful. We came here today 6/6/2020 and Terry gave me a face mask that has ment so much to me and the people I support. Thank you Jerry!! You are an amazing woman!!! I can't say enough good things about this family run store. My son and I were looking for a 50 cal shell plate and we called about every store in the county with no luck. When we called Petaluma Reloading, they had three of them. We had never been to this store before and were very impressed with how friendly and knowledeable Darryl and his wife were. The amount of consignment guns was amazing, and I found a gun that I had been looking for for almost 10 years. WHAT A FIND
