DONT DO IT BUYER BEWARE

I Bought there custom triple disc lock up converter ($1473 with shipping not the budget one) for my 900 hp ls powered STREET CAR and installed it no problem replacing a single disc that worked fine just wanted a higher stall. At first start with new converter it had issues with noise at first only in park and neutral that progressed into what I assume internal converter failure with noise in all gears mind you this is brand new in under 5 miles. Pulled the PTC out and put my JEGS one back in and the converter is again silent no issues. i got lucky that it didnt damage my trans.

But here is the issues I
Contacted the company to be told that its normal for my converter to sound like a marble in a tin can being shook around and that I can pay for a replacement or keep it and sell it (passing the damaged part on to the next guy) and they will sell me another out of pocket. This Company doesn't have a return policy posted (9/12/24) there website is crap and its not on the receipt...PTC got upset when I contacted the credit card company for assistance to just return the item for refund. Days later the Owner or manager called me on my cell and agreed that the sound wasn't normal and talked to me like a human being....then he put me on hold to have another guy talk to me and he spoke poorly to me calling me a liar and said "Im the guy that lied to the credit card company." I was shocked and I told him that is out of line and that if his converter didn't fail I wouldn't have tried to return it or contact my credit card company when you wouldnt take it back or replace. I gave this person at PTC an opportunity to recant that statement that he started with calling me a liar and he choose not to so I told him very nicely we are done talking you can deal with my credit card company... lesson learned don't buy from PTC a brand that is shilled and pumped up on the internet they don't offer the support needed to have a successful business in this era. When a customer has a issue with a part you sold them stand by it.

PTC is the place to get your converter! I called up the guys last year, and told them what I had going on with my big heavy turbo crew cab truck and they got me set up right! This PTC converter is LEAPS and BOUNDS better than my old Circle D converter. My truck has excellent street manners now thanks to the guys at PTC, and when I want to party, does exactly what I want it to do when I get on my transbrake. If I want to go to a cruise night, the truck literally drives like stock. If I want to have fun, I turn on my Co2, hit it with well over 1kwhp worth of LS turbo goodness and this sucker lights off harder than a bootleg firework! If you're on the fence because other companies have more publicity than these guys but someone sent you here to go fast, look no further. PTC is the place to spend your hard earned coin with. Doesn't matter if dedicated racecar, or street/strip. These guys will get you moving, and fast. (see what I did there? haha) Did I mention from phone call, to spec, to at my door, was only 3 days WHAT! 3 days! It took 3, almost 4 months to get my Circle D! PTC FTW!!!!

Sent my 10" back to have it tightened up all the did was go through it so I made it through last year and decided to have them build me a new one and they sent a 8" and it's so far off the car is horribly lazy and I've actually slowed down 2 tenth and I wanted them to make it right and now you can't get anybody to do anything to make it right

Went to PTC IN 2020 to repair a TH400 that had an issue that couldn't be repaired. They went the extra mile to make sure that they wouldn't let my transmission leave until it was correct.... And it stays at 235 psi!!!! Thanks to Blaine, Kenny, and Especially Bill for making sure my Race Car transmission was right!

I gave PTC the specs on my car and told them what I wanted the converter to do. They turned it out in 24 hours and it was dead on. I highly recommend and I will be running PTC converters moving forward.

Id give half a star if I could. Converter is not what I paid for and they want me to pay to have it restalled. Bought for a turbo car and its to tight. Ive been in conversation with them since its been installed. I should have went to Hughes. After numerous calls they finally agreed to restall the converter. I just needed to pay shipping up and back.
