I took my work van in for some repair at the location off of Main Street but they could not do The Replacements of the inner and outer tie rod ends due to the fact they are alignment machine broke with somebody's truck up on top of it and it's taking them a week to fix so they had me come down to this location by the mall. They gave me a astronomical quotes and I asked him if I could buy the parts and bring it to him for installation and they said yes but they would not warranty the part. Of course I did so and that saved about $175 on upcharged parts cost but overall the $150 an hour labor charges added up pretty heavily. They did the repair and I picked our work van up on Sunday so it will be ready for driving on Monday. After one day in service my technician said they heard a rattling grinding noise underneath the van and didn't know what it was. They sent me a picture of something hanging down. I had to drive out and meet them and I took photos and found the technician did not to reinstall the vent tube that connects from the rack and pinion steering Bellows from the left to right. Additionally instead of using the stainless steel clamps to reinstall the boots they just used run-of-the-mill black zip ties to secure the Mellow moods to the rack and pinion and the tie rod shaft. The reason for the tube is it keeps water and debris out of the inner tie rods and when you turn the steering One Direction it takes the air pressure from the left and converts it to the right and then vice versa keeping the system sealed. Does tube had fallen off of the driver side and fell to the asphalt and through the driving ground the end of it completely off. I notified Pep Boys immediately and email them pictures of it but they said I must bring it in for their review but the manager told me this is likely a OEM part that would have to be ordered through the dealer and I would expect to have to bring the van back a second time after it was confirmed that what part was needed. So after the first Pep Boys told me I had to take it to this other Pep Boys for this part of the repair Andy alignment I now Again had to schedule an hours wage for my technician to go down and drop the van off and another hour to pick it back up. When this technician arrived to pick up the van the next morning, the Pep Boys person told my technician the van was repaired and finished. After my technician informed me this I know this could be right because I was told this was a specially ordered part so I called Pep Boys again and asked when they ordered the part and how long until it came in. The assistant manager on the phone said he wasn't sure about that and he had to have the regular manager call me because he wasn't in at that time. I never received a call back after 2 days and I had left the country for a week and a half vacation over christmas. When I arrived back on January 2nd I had to crawl underneath the van to find out what it was that they did that they said it was a fix and I took photos showing that what they did was reattach the Bellow boot on to the rack and pinion but completely remove the vent tube and left the holes where the vent tube was supposed to be installed and retained is now left open where water and contaminants can enter and cause premature where in failure of the inner tie rod end. I made a phone call again and I basically received the same answer but this time the main manager that I needed to talk to was on vacation and would be back January 6th and she would be sure to have him call me. As of today I have not received return phone calls from the multiple calls I made to the store requesting how and when they're going to correctly fix this. The assistant manager can't give me any answers at all and continuously refers me that I need to speak to the store manager who's never available.

Did it work on our van and the mechanic did not reattach event to properly causing it to be damaged. When we took it back their resolve was just to completely remove the tube and throw it away. When asked to speak to the manager they said the manager is not available and would call me. More than a month has gone by and still no phone call and no resolve to repair and replace what they damaged leaving the vent exposed to take on water and dirt from underneath the vehicle and cause the inner tie rods to deteriorate much faster. Maybe they're good at tires but obviously they're not good at mechanical skills or taking responsibility when they create a liability issue.

I can't say enough about how disappointed I am with the poor service I received. Just left me having to do additional repairs to my vehicle and the management from this company won't even bother calling you back. Even though they acknowledged the problem and agreed they would take care of it once I wasted more time bringing it in and dropping it off as they say the part is probably a special dealer order it's left with them and then they say it's ready to pick up and come to find out they just remove the part citing is not a necessary item the manufacturer used even though it was designed to prevent contaminants from entering and shortening the service life. Just because they're a big name doesn't mean they'll stand up to their work and quality. The shops are independently owned and obviously poorly managed

This location provided dealer warranty service on my 2017 Cadillac XT5 and I have to say this was the best. I had to have my vehicle towed here and in less than 24 hours they diagnosed the issue got approval from from the warranty company and vehicle repaired. Communication during the entire process couldn't ask for anything more. Would definitely recommend and they have earned my future business. Thank you.

The employees at Pep Boys on Radio Road were outstanding, they took care of my vehicle right away and explained everything to me concerning my battery. They said the battery was ok but minimal on the cranking amps but I decided for them to change the battery. They were very honest and professional and very courteous. I highly recommend this Pep Boys on Radio Rd they are honest and very polite.

We had the tires on our Toyota rotated at this location. I left for a work conference the next morning and noticed a funny noise. I pulled over thinking maybe low tire pressure or a flat. What I discovered was much worse; the technician had failed to tighten 3 of the lug nuts. Thankfully I had AAA who came out to assist and get me back on the road. I’m thankful it wasn’t worse- like my tire coming off completely, but I missed hours of a conference I paid to attend and would have been footing the bill for roadside assistance if I hadn’t already paid to have AAA. When we called Pep Boys to let them know they said they would watch the footage and get back with us. We still haven’t heard anything.
