I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The ladies are wonderful! I have found out that they are closing in Montgomery Village, Santa Rosa. I truly hope that the owner finds another place in Santa Rosa. Your employees are loyal to you and I know they would follow you any where in Santa Rosa!

A nice store with a good social ethic. First time visiting. We enjoyed sniffing the spices in the sample jars, and bought some new ones to bring home.. Staff was helpful and pleasant. I rarely purchase spices, but would return here next time I need one.

Just happen to be with my cousin as she wanted to stop in while in the area after we went cemetery hunting ..she bought some taco seasoning apparently on sale / cheap @ the counter and got a free coffee cup also ...so I jumped at the same opportunity got a free coffee ☕cup for my sister in law and seasoning she can use on Taco Tuesdays or when ever she wants

Wow! Get ready: Penzeys is Spice Heaven! The very best assortment of high quality spices and items in the state! Really, that impressive. Store staff is so smart and Friendly! Great sales. The Owner of Penzeys is so smart, even keeled and aware of the State of the Union...bravo. So much respect for him/them.

The spices are ok- not great. Expensive in comparison. Their cinnamon is really good. But, for the price, I can get cinnamon anywhere else. The staff is hit and miss on friendliness. The store is clean but very uninviting. It also seems like the store front is too large for the inventory.
Sadly, you wont feel very welcomed here. I had a run in with the founder of Penzeys Spices. What a hateful man. Sad. Made me realize that good cinnamon is not worth the trouble here. I do not shop places that are not respectful of people. I will try The Spice House and Savory Spice from now on- I hear they actually like their customers.

Ordering spices online is fine sometimes, but it's nice to be able to walk into a shop and sniff and sample spices, seasonings, and blends. Good selection of spices plus lots of custom Penzeys blends and some surprising finds like a robust shallot salt and freeze-dried minced garlic that manages to maintain so much of that fresh garlic taste and smell. The staff here is friendly and on my first visit they honored an expired freebie coupon. I like their email blasts because they frequently include coupons for free spices in-store or online. Nicely done!

So sad to see them close this week. Beautiful shop, so inviting. Best spices ever, I’ve used Penzey’s for 20 years at least. I will have to go back to ordering online.
