The workers here need to be trained again in the policies. Yes, they were nice and courteous, but gave very bad information. I called twice on the phone to confirm if I could pick up a walk-in overnight backcountry permit for the weekend on a weekday and they said yes only if I come pick the permit up in person. I drove an hour and a half just to the station for the supervisor to tell me no. I explained my story and why I came after two confirmed yes from their office through the phone. At the end, I wasted time and gas with nothing to show for it. I would never trust their words again and do my own research from other sources. WARNING TO OTHERS - This station do not know what they are informing the public about. Very disappointed.

Thank you to the two lovely officers whom i feel were very informative. Getting proper maps for exploring is a must. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with you two, even under the circumstances. I did find crystals!

Staff here aren't helpful at all. Made so many jokes about the weather and the necessary gear that I wasn't sure what to expect when I hit the trail, unfortunately there was a lot of snow.... could have been someone's life... take your job more seriously please.

THEY DONT ANSWER THERE PHONE'S AND THEY ARE VERY RUDE... THEY ACT LIKE THEY'VE BEEN SO BUSY THAT THEY CAN'T ANSWER FONES OR THE DOOR WHEN YOU COME BY NO MATTER WHAT THE OF DAY OR WHAT DAY IT IS...
