Feels like Orchard Supply Hardware resurrected, OSH! Al Smith would probably approve. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

clean big store but very expensive even with there poor reward program. items on sale are still 15-20% more then ace, true value, home depot, lowes, target and the list goes on. the plant section is the only affordable section and they have a nice plant selection. seemed there was a lot of staff and no customers on every visit. i keep going back in hope that there are more competitive in costs but im wrong every time.

I went to this store recently and while there nobody asked if I needed any help, was looking around for somebody, asked one worker about something and it seemed liked I was disturbing him from his stock shelving, store was pretty dead, being run by a skeleton crew I guess. I will just stick to the other hardware stores in the area.

I generally like this store and I am a regular customer. Today, I went in to get a few things including an electric sander. After looking at the available sanders, I saw that they had a Makita belt sander listed for 169. After tracking down an employee, they grabbed the item and said it would be at the register as I needed to obtain the requisite sand paper. Once at the register, the sander came up at $369.00. I thought at first the perhaps it was the battery powered product and asked them to get the listed product. They stated that the only plug in Makita Sander was the display model. He went and boxed that product and brought it back to the register where it again ran up 369. We went back to the display item where the price tag clearly said 169. He stated that they would have to honor that price but then he pulled off the tag where the previous price was 369. He then said he would give me 10% off of 369. I stated that I was not interested in paying that as I was originally in the market for about a $100 sander. He stated he could not honor the listed price as he "would get in trouble". Needless to say, I said no thank you and thank you for wasting 20 minutes of my time. Time to re-visit ACE and True Value in the 5 cities.
