I have shot with Josiah from Out of Focus Films and he is wonderful to work with and takes smashing photos! He helps to direct, but not overbearingly, and makes it very comfortable and easy to pose and get the perfect shot.

I have also seen his video creation first hand and it is extremely professional and beautifully done. During an event he is always recording and getting the smallest details and the perfect moments that make the video truly a work of art.

I highly recommend Out of Focus films for any photography or videography needs.

Josiah was a pleasure to work with! He came well prepared and had a vision already in mind. I knew immediately that the shoot was going to be lighthearted and fun. He helped relax my nerves and made the whole experience exciting. The final product came out better than I expected and I can’t wait to work with him and his team again. Highly recommend!

I recently one a huge Instagram drawing giveaway and was given a trip of a lifetime to Moab UT, as well as a free $5,000 tattoo experience. Coming on the trip I didn’t know what to expect including the fact that a professional photographer and videographer had been booked to join the entire adventure/experience and help document the entire journey. (The Out of Focus Films)

Josiah with The Out of Focus Films is truly a master at his craft. Not only is he a true professional he also captured every moment I initially wanted with my experience and so much more.

He has a very talented and artistic eye not just with photography and videography but also with drone footage as well.

He is always looking for the best angle and view as well as innovating new ideas and executing flawlessly with them.

I cannot stress enough the power of Culture with this experience. I have done many family photo shoots and usually they are very awkward and hard to act normal with because the photographer is simply there to just do a job. With Josiah that was not the case. The culture with The Out of Focus Films team is one that has them make you feel like they are your life long friend and a part of your inner circle than just a photographer there to “get the shot”.

This culture then quickly translates even more magic into the final product of the pictures/videos ultimately capturing exactly what you want and so much more forever!

I would 1000% recommend them to anyone wanting photography, videography, or drone footage of any kind.
