Frankly, I expected the produce to be fresher. The peaches were wonderful, but the potatoes I bought were kind of soft, lettuce wasn't firm and the prices really weren't any better than the Walmart down the road. I doubt if I'll shop there again unless they have pumpkins and squash in the Fall. On the plus side, the lady at the register was very warm and friendly and although I didn't buy any, the apples looked delicious.

Cheerful basic produce market with some shelves of pickles, relishes, jams, and other jarred goods, along with candy and Amish soap (just $1 each, y'all!). Swing in off the main road into Monroeville; there's easy parking and prices are decent. Store is simple but well kept. Definitely worth putting on your list.
