I can't recommend this company enough. We were working with a different gate company who had over billed us, spent weeks trying to fix our gate....all unsuccessfully. We had over 2 weeks of various technicians coming up to our house pointing out problem after problem.

Northgate sent Ricky up, and they literally fixed the gate in 30 minutes. This is after I spent $6,000 (unnecessarily) with their competitor. Do your save a HUGE favor, and call Northgate. They are thorough, tremendously competent and professional. I couldn't be any happier and am just sad I didn't call them first. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I've written a review for this company before. But I had to just add more. They are AMAZING!! I had an issue with my gate and they were out the next day to fix the issue. They are quick, efficient and responsive and above all- they are honest and kind. If you are looking for a gate company for a new gate or to fix/repair one you already have- this is THE company to use.

Rickey came out this morning from Northgates in Motion and quickly assessed the situation and fixed it for a reasonable price. We have had a few "gate repair" folks out and they all wanted to sell us a new expensive system. Not Nothgates in Motion, they just wanted to fix our problem. THANK YOU!

Northgates In Motion Inc are the very best. I called them yesterday from Marin and today my sun powered vertical gate was fix, when nobody else had a clue.
The person drove down from Rohnert Park. He called me when he was 25 minutes out and showed up and fixed my gate in "No time."
Thank you so much for being so professional and knowledgeable and for showing up with the right tools.

😔 Terrible.
They sent me an invoice for an estimate I never authorized.
They never contacted me via email, phone, or in person while we were home all day on the date they claimed to be here.
$240.00 for no contact or authorization from this household. No contact in any form ever.
$7,000 allegedly the cost estimated work.
Bad business practices.

We had new door installed by them on an outbuilding a few years ago and then had a new door opener with battery backup installed after the fire. The installer went the extra mile to insure everything was aligned and worked smoothly.
