I had an excellent experience with Nordberg Welding in Minneola, FL! I needed a quick fix on harness bar supports that were poorly manufactured by Braum. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Jordan took the time to understand my project needs and delivered top-quality welding work. The craftsmanship was outstanding, and they completed the job on time, with great attention to detail. Jordan was friendly and responsive, answering all my questions and providing helpful advice. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! AVOID doing any business with Jordan Nordberg. I am not one to write reviews but I hope this information may help someone considering hiring Nordberg Welding and Fabrication.

I found Nordberg Welding through Thumbtack. After a bit of Google and social media searching, I decided they seemed trustworthy enough and that I would proceed in hiring them to remodel my stair railing. Initially, I was told there was a 2 week waiting period to start work but by the time I closed with them (1 month later) I was informed there was a 3 month waiting period – I wasn’t in a hurry so I agreed to this timeframe. I was informed that a 50% deposit would be needed to secure a date, another 25% payment during fabrication, and the last 25% payment after the work was completed.

Throughout the first 4 months, the communication was great. It wouldn’t take more than a few minutes for me to receive a response from their Admin. Once the 3 month period was approaching and they had requested the 2nd payment of 25%, I started questioning when they would schedule a start date for the remodel. Every time I reached out asking to schedule a date, I would be told “let me get a lead time” or “let me speak with the owner”. I tried for two months to get a lead time and the response would always be the same.

Eventually, I was told that the reason for the delay was due to inclement weather and that the work was pushed out another week or two. Another month went by and I still wasn’t able to schedule a start date with them.

After multiple calls and emails, I started expressing my frustration so then Jordan reached out to me saying there was turnover and that they were behind on projects. Jordan said that he would review his schedule and get back to me. More days went by and nothing… Jordan never called me back so I proceeded to request a full refund of my money and informed them that I would be filing claims and legal suit against the company. I pressed to have my money returned but Jordan proceeded to make false promises stating all the materials were ready and we could schedule a start date.

Eventually the work started and IT ALL WENT DOWNHILL FROM HERE…

His “specialists” began the demo/patch up work…they worked on that portion alone for 5 days straight and could never get it right or finished. It’s still unfinished and we currently have no railings.

When Jordan came to deliver the railings…that’s when we lost it! The railing itself was amateurish - at best! Crooked and full of dents! Just awful! NO WAY we were going to instal it in our home. (I have TONS of pictures as proof).

And it keeps getting worse…It’s like everyday we discover something missing from our home…someone in his 2-person crew stole a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses from a closed room, my husband’s Beats headphones, the battery for our leaf blower (which Jordan later replaced with a used one he had), and food from our fridge. Also, two days in a row, one of the guys working here would say he was out of gas for his truck and the battery on his phone had died. My husband had to take him and pay for his gas (Jordan also gave us our money back after much pressing on my end).

Every time I would complain to Jordan about the work, he would give me excuses. But remember, this was a BUSINESS transaction. You weren’t doing me a favor! I PAID you to do a job!

We cut our losses and now have to find another business to fix all the mess they did. This was truly one of the worst experiences we’ve come across. Not only did we invest a lot of our saved money for a project we’ve waited years to do but we were lied to and stolen from. Trust me, save yourself the headache. This company may have been good at one point (I’m assuming because of the reviews) but it no longer is! Jordan should not be accepting new projects and taking people’s hard earned money. Shameless!

We had an urgent repair needed on one of our truck’s lifter arms. We called around and Nordberg answered promptly and got back to us within 15 mins to let us know is they could help. They helped us keep our routes on schedule by coming out so quickly - technician was friendly and competent. This is a company we are saving for future needs!

Called them for an emergency repair on one of our trucks to ensure it could get back on the road the next day… they go us on schedule that afternoon. Fast, friendly and efficient. Will definitely use again!

Great job fixing an unusual repair on my old mower deck for a RDTH 84 where the metal wore out from fatigue around one of the pulleys. After the repair, all the blades line up straight which was my big concern. It is now working better than since I bought it used a few years ago. Thanks!

He really knows his work & stands behind his quality, they handle walk in projects with precision and care. Powder coat with accuracy, very friendly service! Highly recommend them!

I unfortunately did not get the pleasure of working with this company due to an unexpected personal issue but I can tell you I would highly recommend them based on their customer service alone. I COULD NOT find a welder to do some of the minor work I needed and I wish I had found this company sooner. They were willing to help when no one else would. They were reliable and sent me a quote in a timely manner with reasonable pricing for the job needed. They reached back out to me to make sure I received the quote and when I unfortunately had to change my plans, they were very understanding and told me I could reach back out when things worked for me. I truly appreciated the honesty and commitment to their customers and if you have to choose a welding company, please consider them first!!!

Great welding shop. I had an issue with my trailer wheel fender from getting bumped by a vehicle and they were able to completely reform and weld the metal back into place. I have also had this company weld a steel car hauler ramp to make them more heavy duty for heavier equipment.
