Went to an intro to 3d printing class. Instructor was knowledgeable and creative. Wish the class had started with 3d printing something so we could see it done before class ends. Also, would have appreciated a more interactive experience and less long lectures. Otherwise, good intro! Thank you.

At Noisebridge, when you look up Ceiling Cat looks back at you.

Noisebridge does excellent work of building community and making innovation possible. Share your knowledge or learn from others. Come here to make, do, and create. Get inspired or just contribute to someone else's inspiration.

Classes and events are all free, as Noisebridge is entirely funded by donation. Noisebridge *wants* excellent people to use the space because that would be excellently excellent (also HIGHLY excellent). Use machines and tools available in the space, such as the mig welder, laser cutter, mill, lathe, woodshop, 3d printers, resin printer, audio research station, dwarf fortress, library, sewing area, VR and game development room.

Bonus: often the Grumpy Cat truck parks outside and we get a giggle out of that.

recently this place has been busy, brewing with activity(!): a ton of skill-sharing workshops going on every week! it's great to see. 🙂

the politics that goes on underneath, that sometimes surfaces, reveal a different side, various currents, as expected by any leader-less / anarchist group, hopefully toward the betterment. i can't even imagine being in a core group larger than a handful of close friends! incredible for such a place to survive in the city for so long... long live anarchist energies.

by the nature of the space, it's very boy'ish, narrow-minded. the more femme/holistic may have to wage battle from the sewing room. :3
