Well, Armando is wonderful to work with and helped me out not one, not two, but three times when cars crashed through my security gate. Each time a different angle and each time it was fixed so that you would never guess what happened. Fair price and he was very empathetic to my situation, with having to pay out of pocket twice for hit and run drivers. Armando also did each job right away so we didn’t have to wait. I highly recommend Neza.

On Sunday, March 17th, my husband and I suffered a break-in in the pre-dawn hours in our condo in Duboce Triangle of San Francisco while we slept through the whole thing, ugh!

A thief crowbarred open our front window after standing on a nearby ledge, and promptly stole my almost-new MacBook Air off my nearby desk because I had left the Bluetooth active overnight, which I know now can be easily tracked through an everyday app. A very unfortunate learning experience, but we were very glad that is all they appear to have taken!

We wanted to reinforce our condo ASAP and found Neza Iron Works through Yelp and Google. I reached out to the number listed on Yelp and it belonged to the very kind owner, Mr. Armando Sánchez, who picked up that Sunday on his own line while at home with his family.

He agreed to meet with us the very next day, and measure the front of our condo for a customized white ironwork grid with requested additional attachments, so no ‘prison-like’ bars in this case. He was very professional, friendly and offered us a very reasonable deal for the work to cover our three large front Victorian windows.

We happily gave him a downpayment and hoped to have the work scheduled ASAP.

Unfortunately, our error was not running this by our HOA first, who were not okay with iron bars installed on the 1st floor of our 3-floor home, despite the breaking of our window facing the sidewalk. But it is what it is!

This was admittedly our error in not seeking their approval for “common area” modifications, but Mr. Armando Sánchez graciously allowed us some time to try to work this out with our HOA. Unfortunately, the HOA put the kibosh on the bars, but Mr. Sánchez in the meantime had began the work customized to our windows, and even graciously offered to store this work for us for some time in case the HOA changed their mind.

Our HOA responsibility and negotiations is our own oversight, but we wanted to HEARTILY recommend Mr. Armando Sánchez and Neza Iron Works for their professionalism, work ethic and honesty.

If we could have gotten our HOA on board with our security solution, we would have eagerly added his professional work to the front of our condo. Mr. Armando Sánchez and Neza Iron Works are a credit to honest and talented workmanship, and if we ever have the opportunity to hire them again, we would do so in a heartbeat. What a great experience. We needed a basic handrail for our family elder to navigate the front stairs. I've seen Neza's company truck in the neighborhood for a number of years and read positive recommendations from our neighbors on Nextdoor and a block group chat, so I called Armando. He was super-prompt, stopped by to meet and check out the job, and invited me and my wife to come to his shop to select the material.

When I was ready he came by once again to go over everything, and offered to have his team there the next morning. His crew of four showed up bright and early, two trucks, a selection of metals on the rack, and a steel bending contraption. They spent the day custom-bending the railing to match the irregular curve of our retaining wall, carefully coring mounting holes into our flagstone, then welded, blended, and painted the finished installation.

The finished handrail is minimalistic like we wanted, feels rock-solid to grip, and looks like it was custom made for our house (which it was!). Armando and his guys at Neza understand the assignment! 🙂

Great local company to support. Armando is very friendly and easy to work with. They took on a really small job for us in a short timeframe. We had contacted a few other companies for bids, and they came in at a reasonable price and we're flexible.

We requested galvanized and painted window bars, and they did everything as requested. They were quick with their work, on time and kept me updated throughout the process.

It's not easy to find reputable and honest companies nowadays. If I ever need similar work, I will definitely reach out to them again as well as refer them to anyone! Give them a call, it is well worth it.

He's an artist. Armando works with good people to create and install. He built my gorgeous gate from a picture of what I was hoping for. He monitored the job well when his crew came on site. He used new, and up to date, sturdy electrical equipment and referred us to a fair priced electrician as well. He is highly skilled, a fair businessman, a kind person, and respectful. We so enjoyed working with him and will call on him again in the near future for our other projects. His prices are unbeatable, and that was quite important to us. I am 100% satisfied with the driveway gate and crawl space hinged cover that was created for me by Neza Iron Works. Armando, the owner, is very professional. I called, he came at the time we agreed upon, I explained what we wanted, he asked a couple questions, drew a picture of what I wanted, verified the style on the phone, and measured the job. The price seems very fair. He had his workers build the project the next day, then on the day of installation, I was called, and told what time the workers would arrive. This was appreciated. The three workmen arrived with their tools, drop cloths, paint and the custom made gate and crawl space cover. They were efficient, and polite. The job was completed thoroughly, and looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend Neza Iron Works to anyone. Great job! Great Experience!
