My asphalt 3 tab roof was 25 years old and starting to get brittle. The gutters were getting full of the stone off the shingles.
One full coat of Roof Protective coating and the shingles became more pliable.

I had a positive experience with Shingle Sealer application. 3000 ftsq I used an airless sprayer with a 413 nozzle. that seemed about right for consistent oval pattern. The whole job took 3 hours after all the preparation, which consisted of pressure washing the asphalt tiles and letting dry for few days. I calipered the tile thickness. Going to check in 3 and then 6 years. If degradation is none or minimal, going to reapply. Brion in phone sales is an excellent resource. Very friendly and helpful.

As a homeowner in Hawaii it can be hard to get certain products shipped here and when it came to needing a custom brown color for an elastomeric roof coating, it was a nightmare. I needed to recoat a small garage roof that was visible from above and needed the color to be brown to fit the existing color scheme, but the company that made the original product wouldn't even sell it to me unless I bought five times the quantity I needed. No paint or roofing company in Honolulu would give me a bid since they couldn't get the product in the brown color in reasonable quantities either. I kept looking and looking for alternative sources and after a long and exhaustive search found Nationwide Protective Coatings. I sent a single sentence inquiry by email and was amazed to get a phone call right away from Brion Amstutz, the Sales Director. He carefully inquired about my roofing application to make sure his products were a good fit and, having done that, followed up immediately with information by email. Within hours I had a delightfully reasonable quote for a custom-colored five gallons of their acrylic ceramic elastomeric Permakote product along with two gallons of the primer designed for use with Permakote. I supplied the color requirements and once again was delighted when Jarred Dluginski , the Operations Manager, worked with me directly to ensure the best possible match with my desired color. They processed my order rapidly and Brion worked with me closely to ensure that it was sent correctly to my west coast freight forwarder. The order arrived in Honolulu shortly afterwards and I did the work myself, having past experience applying elastomeric coatings, and was impressed with the materials involved. My roof now looks superb and I am confident it will continue to look great for many, many years to come. Thank you Brion and Jarred!

We recently found Nationwide Protective Coatings as our supplier. They have the best products, customer service, and overall credibility in their industry. On one of our first projects we tasked them with an almost impossible task. The Amalie Arena's(Tampa Bay Lightning) chief engineer called us a few days before the SuperBowl. They were painting the logo on the roof and ran out of their red paint. In a panic they called us. He asked if we could match his exact red paint for their very unique roof system. We asked for 24 hours.. and Nationwide got it done. We delivered it and it literally went straight to the roof and was applied. After they were finished we were alerted that our paint was different that the original... and by that I mean far better quality. The painters could not believe the ease of how it went on, and how much better the color looked next to the rest of the recently applied paint. We got all the credit.. but in reality it was all Nationwide Protective Coatings.

I have owned a home in the Bahama for 17 years. The original asphalt shingled roof was acceptable at the time and I was not interested in putting a new one on. I purchased the Permakote product and only now need some additional paint for some renovations. The color and material have held up wonderfully. I never do google reviews. I am doing this because the material held up beyond any expectations I had, almost 20 years ago.

I built my house 31 years ago and roofed it with asphalt shingles. Recently it was noted that the shingles were coming un-tabbed and would flap in the wind which leads to them breaking off. So I re-searched what it would cost to re-shingle, and the lowest bid was $18,000 dollars. So I then looked at alternatives and found that coatings could be applied to the shingles which would re-seal the granules onto the shingles, soften them, and adhere them to each other again. I looked into having a company come and spray the roof with the lowest bid coming in at $4,200. So I looked into purchasing the product and doing it myself. I looked for the highest rated product and cost savings. Looking at product from Home Depot & Lowes the best price and quality that I could find would cost about $2,700 just for the product. So I searched online for the highest rated and found Nationwide Coatings with their SHINGLE SEALER™ Clear Sealer Finish. Found out Nationwide has an A+ with the BBB and have been in business since 1964. So I called them up and spoke with Mike F. and he got me a quote very fast. He asked for some pictures of the shingles which I provided so that he could determine the quantity of the product needed. He also provided key points for the proper application of the product. So to make a long story shorter I ordered the product and shipping was secure and fast. With the incidental tools to apply the product I am only into the completed project $1,575. We washed the roof the day prior to application, sprayed and back rolled the first coat the next morning and applied the second coat late afternoon. We found that the shingles are softer and stuck down very securely now and that the asphalt granules are stuck tightly to the shingles.

I am extremely pleased with the product, customer service, and on top of that a 7 year warranty. Way to knock it out of the park Nationwide!!!

Called this morning. Representative was rude to say the least. I have specified this product on many condominiums in Vegas over the years. Asked who distributes their product. Seems they know of no one. Red flag to say the least. Wow.
