This is a small operation, that will pay fair prices on your scrap. I think it would be best if they displayed current metal prices, but hey , it's a scrap yard!

I've been to this establishment twice now. The first time I was very satisfied with the pay out. During the course of my visit today, the scale guy was polite, respectful and even gave me an extra quarter to get my little two year old son I'd brought with me a piece of bubble gum out of the machine in the office area. The downside to my visit was that I had to sell my cast iron bath tub as regular scrap because " they've went crazy at the mill" and I wasn't offered a receipt for my transaction.

Don't go expecting not to get dirty. Boots are a good bet. If you are able call ahead for pricing on whatever you are planning on bringing. They stay busy so it's not uncommon to not get an answer on busy days. They have been in business for a long while so they must be doing it right! Friendly enough but your not going to make friends. Pays cash. Checks may be written for $$$$$ high amounts.

Public service announcement: IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE CLOSED PLEASE POST NEEDED INFORMATION ON GOOGLE, LEAVE A VOICE MESSAGE ON THE BUSINESSES AUTOMATED DIRECTORY THAT PICKS UP WHEN A CUSTOMER CALLS, OR WHERE CUSTOMERS CAN EASILY SEE BEFORE FUEL AND TIME IS WASTED.

We have drove here for 2 days in a row just to pull up and to find that the gate is closed and locked. If the employees would answer the phone (the employees have been there both days), or better yet, leave customers a little side note on your businesses automated directory stating you're closed and when you'll be open again maybe we would have known what we needed to know before a significant amount of our time was wasted. Do better, this isn't a good way to keep customers coming back.

I took a load of various metals, including 40+ pounds of #3 copper, and was paid a $43.76, and wasn't given a receipt. I was in a hurry and left, not really thinking much about it at the time, but thinking that was low. I should have gotten a receipt, that's my fault, but there's no doubt I was taken advantage of. I'll never use this place again.

Always very nice,very quick service,and never any B.S. And they pay top dollar !! The upmost respectful people in the business or just in general !!! Great service,with high standards of Real Honesty. Simply fast friendly service,where you feel like family.

Negligent and destructive with an attitude they don’t care about your equipment.
The people working there are friendly, and prices are fair, but they will break your equipment and not care when they do. When someone goes to a junkyard and has a big machine unload their trailer, some risk is associated and understood, however, when THEY tell you to back further down, then THEY push down on your trailer and drag it back another foot and then THEY press down and push your tire on a lawnmower top and slice your tire, that isn’t a hazard, that is negligence. Then they “look” for 3 minutes for a tire so you can get home and they find one smaller and call it good, but it is completely dry-rotted. Then the management says “I have signs up and even though WE cut your tire, we don’t accept responsibility.” $200 in scrap metal and then take $100 away for a new tire, that is your profit margin for doing business with these people.

I had a good experience. Took 2 loads total 2000 pounds of stuff collecting for 25 years in the edge of the woods. The first load, they unloaded. Second load, I unloaded the trailer. No issues. They have a very small yard that can be extremely busy. Be patient, I can see how maybe some folk get irritated. Keep calm and recycle.
