This business could not be run worse. They open on random days and random times. They sometimes close midday for no apparent reason with a long line of customers still waiting. So far I've made three wasted trips there this spring - twice they were closed during advertised hours, and the third they decided at lunchtime to close for the rest of the day. They expect you to call during the week to find out when they might be open. They are just horrible. I have spent more money on wasted gas than I will get back if I ever get to drop off my recycling at all. Might as well just dump it all in the trash.

Phone is turned off
Not there when they say they’re open
Ridiculous … do not give these people your business …take your recyclables down the hill and get more $$…don’t respect them if they don’t respect you ..

And I called down there and it seems like your phone are not working not only that but on the Google hours it says that you guys are open however you're not . 2 months ago when I went down there the worker said yeah we're going to start opening back up instead of just staying open on the weekends so are you guys not open anymore can you do an edit on your hours so people know can you mark temporary closed if you're not open at all I understand this whole covid-19 has got you you drive down and everybody's business is drag down but have some common courtesy and common Sense to be able to let the public know when you guys are open and when you're not. And if it's not your fault and it's Google's well then shame on them

It's pretty much self serve. You get your own bins to put cans/bottles in, then get in line to turn them in and get your cash. Nice people too. It's a pretty small place though so not much room to park up close.

Hours are constantly changing, and more likely they than not they will be closed during posted operating hours. I have made several trips there in the last month with a car full of recycling, only to have to take it back home or drop it at the dump. They are completely unreliable.

Update: several times I have gone by during their operating hours and no one was there. It sucks dragging several heavy bags of glass around for nothing. Only open Thursday - Saturday (when they're there), and the next nearest facility is in Crestline.

Just fine CRV reclamation site located behind Jensen's in Blue Jay. Limited hours. Items must be sorted by type and glass by color, then are weighed to determine value. Never had any issues, I get my CRV back and I'm keeping things from the landfill. Wish they were open Mondays!
