Beautiful garden!! Peaceful walk around the lake. You can go your own pace plenty of benches for resting or peaceful reflection.

The entrance fee is reasonable and plenty of parking. It’s not far off of the Florida Turnpike so worth the stop.

If you have only seen botanic gardens you may find this Japanese garden different and disappointing
HOWEVER, if you take the time to look and try to understand this fabulous place, you will be rewarded many times over.
An amazing walk with an incredible experience every step of the way.
Well marked and when you bring their map, you will know and understand what the garden is about.

We spent 90 minutes here and I cannot wait to get back to spend more time at each stop.
You might want to start with about 7 minutes of movies to put the garden in perspective.

Super cool and unique garden for this area!! Me personally i spent 2 hours walking the loop but i was taking my sweet time. It takes shorter if you’re not looking at every detail. There’s also a cute little cafe with Japanese food. I had the classic bento box which was a little pricey but worth it. I live 2.5 hours away but honestly it’s so cool that I’d make the trip back just to see it again. The one thing that i would note is that when you’re eating at the cafe there are black birds that stand guard at the place and wait for you to be done eating to steal your food. This isn’t such a big deal to me where it’d steer me away from going to the cafe but some people would definitely find this kinda annoying

Visited on a busy Friday afternoon. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. You receive a map upon paying for entry and it details the path and different garden areas. There are unique plants, flowers, a lake, waterfalls, sculptures, bonsai exhibit, and museum. Takes about an hour to walk the entire path. Very tranquil and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Before reading, my last 4 images uploaded are from REAL Japan. As a traveler who has visited 日本, I see what this place tries to do. For someone in Florida who cannot save for the 870$ round trip and the 16$ a night Airbnb in Osaka, for 16$ or less if a senior or student, this is okay. Very little here really reminded me of anything from Japan. It's a nice place for a walk. I looked at the menu for the Cafe and nothing looked authentic like what I eat when I visit anywhere overseas. The easiest thing they could add, would be an authentic vending machine with an authentic recycling bin beside it. I include in my picture uploads what Japan looks like in the last 4 images.

One of the most exceptional and unique places I’ve been. Peaceful. Informative. Beautiful. Reasonably priced. I wish they had a policy of asking guests to use lowered voices around the entire garden and facilities.

This was a stunning and peaceful afternoon. The museum was closed for renovations.
Take the time to stroll around the gardens. It's so worth it!
Please be aware of the gators in any water spots!
After the sand gardens hang a sharp left into the Bonsai area. The trees are just amazing! Finished our visit with a rainbow forming!
Will be back every time we visit boca!

These gardens are absolutely stunning. Such a peaceful visit and plenty of sightseeing and walking around.

My favorite parts were probably the bamboo forest and the bonsai tree farm. If you sit and listen to the wind blow through bamboo, it’s such a cool and soothing sensation, never gets old.

The bonsai farm is unlike anything I have seen. Honestly, this may be silly but I never knew there were so many different kinds of bonsai! It was just fascinating getting to learn more about it.

There is so much more to see here and definitely worth the visit if you are able. The workers were super kind and helpful if you needed anything. The only thing I’d watch out for are the prices at the gift shop- I accidentally bought a tiny notebook for $40 of which I could not believe they charged that much for (and would not have purchased had I realized the price).

If you love being in nature while also being able to learn some history, Morikami is for you!
