Bridgeport museum was closed when I went, however I loved the old building and they still had plenty of cool equipment from the old days including farming equipment and some awesome generators. I highly recommend stopping by and hopefully next time I pass through I can see the inside!

Love this museum! So much history of this area to be found here, and searched through records back to 1864!

I dropped in here when my camping plans got cut short. The employee (maybe volunteer?) was very helpful, she pointed out a couple items of interest in the museum. I really enjoyed the "basket" room with native American baskets, arrowheads and other artifacts. The museum has a lot of items and photos on display showing the history of Mono County. While there I asked about the ghost town of Masonic, the employee gave me a free map to get there. The admission fee is very inexpensive- $2. I will likely return to explore some more, the upstairs was closed because they were going to have a new roof put on the next day.

Went there several years ago and was impressed with how much history they have preserved. And the tax books upstairs are irreplaceable.

Interesting old-time museum. Lots of stuff crammed into an old one room school house. A bit chaotic inside. Some interesting old equipment outside. I do not remember what we paid to get in, but it was next to nothing.
