I put off going to Mike’s camera for months because I was so confused as to what I wanted. Should I get a new lens or a new camera? I went ahead and went in with all my questions and I’m so glad I did! The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and Shannon, in particular, was extremely helpful. She guided me to exactly what I needed as it turns out. She asked many questions about what I wanted to shoot, what equipment I already had and what I wanted for improving my work. The owner was very helpful as well. I’m very grateful and pleased with my purchase and will drop in when I need equipment or advice. Love this place!

I was referred here by Best Buy. The Sony camera I wanted was not only sold out at all Best Buy’s, but completely sold out on Sonys website too.

I checked the website and my camera was in stock. I called on a Sunday just to make sure they had. Dublin didn’t but their other store did. She mentioned if I bought online and pick up in Dublin, they will get the camera.

Well..Monday comes around and I already got a call that they have the camera. I wasn’t expecting it THAT face but appreciate the speediness.

Leah was not working when I picked up but the rest of the staff was super helpful. I’m glad I got referred here cause I’ve been needing a place to print as well. So I’ll be trying that too!

This is my second time visiting this shop. The first time, the staff signed me up for their membership without informing me that I needed to pay for it. They asked if I had a student ID, and I thought they were offering a student discount, so I showed it to them. However, it turned out to be for a membership, and I realized later that I had been charged extra for it.

Today, I went there to get a passport photo because proper lighting is essential for passport pictures, which is why I chose their service. However, the photo turned out really dark. When I asked if I could get the digital copy, they said it would cost $4.99. I agreed, but then I found out they had already deleted my photo.

After returning home, I called them to explain that I was very dissatisfied with the photo and asked if I could have it retaken. They said yes but told me I would need to pay another $17.

Last month, I bought a new camera from Mike's Camera. James Watts was a great customer service person. Friendly, informative and no pressure. If I need anymore gear or accessories, I'll go visit James.

We went to Mike's Camera as a last effort to find a camcorder we were desperately (and urgently) searching to find.

We arrived at Mike's and were greeted by Leah F. who helped us with every single one of our camera (and new camcorder) needs. She was overwhelmingly helpful and knowledgeable about, not only new equipment, but older stock too!

Leah F. was kind and understanding about our struggle to find this camcorder (we found it, FINALLY, at Mike's) and also set us up with a spare battery for it.

Instead of hunting around the Bay Area, from the peninsula to Sacramento, just visit Leah at Mike's Camera. Quick, efficient, friendly service, and a huge stock for any photography/videography needs. 1,000/10 we will be back. Thanks Leah!

I’ve been relying on Mikes cameras now for two years and they are always so helpful! I use a lot of DSLR cameras at work that get passed between many users. They have been so kind at helping diagnose the issues, fixing them on the spot if possible, and giving honest helpful advice regarding cameras and replacements. Would recommend them to everyone for camera needs!
