I was able to go to a Butcher Shop today! I been doing The CarDiet and I hear everybody say, you gotta go to a Butcher Shop, so I looked up for one near me, dis place is pretty close. Right off greenfield! My first time! I only seen butcher shops in movies and cartoons. I've always just got my.meat from.the grocery store. I went to Midwestern Meats! The people there were super chill. Friendly, I felt welcomed. The guy at the counter helped me out. I got 2 Rib eyes and 2 top sirloin steaks. The guy at the counter told.me dey cut deir steaks to just over a pound each. Dis place was kinda pricey but the steak was Gorgeous and the fat melted in my mouth like cotton candy, it was so frickin delicious. If your in Mesa, AZ, go check dem out. Dey got all kine stuff! Even get pig ears, brah and liver, ground beef, any kine.Good Stuff

Finest tenderloin I have ever had. EVERYBODY was raving about the whole Midwestern Meats tenderloins. 120° and then tented and rested.
I was shocked that I could buy meat in Mesa that Ruth's Chris would serve proudly (this meat was better than their steaks). ⁰Bravo!!

We drive this road all the time, and today was the 1st time we ever noticed the sign for this restaurant/ bakery/ meat market. So we flipped around and decided to give it a try. Well hot dang, I'm glad we did.
As you walk up to the building there are 3 entrances. I wish they had bold vinyl lettering on the door so you know which door is which. We didn't figure it out until we went inside. (All the rooms connect anyways... so no big freak, it would have just been better with clear signage.)
* The door all the way to the right is the meat market area. You can purchase meats, sides, sauces, amazing homemade pickles, and jerky. The employees all seem cheerful and hollar out hello as you come in. I really loved this. It gave such a small town family vibe to it and made me want to come back to their store even before purchasing anything. (Amazing customer attention!)
* The middle door is their bakery. They offer donuts, pies, breads, sweets and even ice cream. The main gal at the counter around 12:30(on 9/11) was just as sweet, she really sold us on trying many things and again made us feel happy to have come in. When I asked if they offered a military discount the lady back behind the table behind the bakery glass, barked out "no!" She seemed very rude and her "bedside manner" if that's what we will call it, was terrible. She must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The lady must hate her job; loved the main gal at the counter. She rocked.
* The door all the way to the left is the restaurant; the waitress was so kind, gave a very welcoming hello. As we came in we were to seat ourselves, which was nice that we didn't have to wait. The food was so good and large portions. The price was great for what we were served and the quality.
The restaurant did have a funky smell to it, couldn't really place what the smell was.
Overall, I would totally come back, and I would recommend it to others.
For all these reasons I've given it 4 stars. I would have given it a full 5 stars if it wasn't for the employee with a sour attitude and the strange smell.

I had the extreme pleasure of Christopher Franks waiting on me, and what an awesome ? experience it was! I told Christopher it was my first time at the store and he said no worries we will make this fun! Christopher was very personable and friendly! I told him the store was spotless and the meat ? counter show cases were beautifully presented! He thanked me and we continued conversations! You could tell Not Only Christopher, Jessica, and other person were all so friendly and helpful! Everyone made you feel so Welcome! This was A REAL PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MEAT ? STORE & Bakery ? Shoppe!

I had been really missing British sausages so I decided to look around and see if anyone could make me some. Midwestern Meats took on the challenge and made me some excellent sausages that are perfect for a fry up or bangers and mash! I couldn't be more pleased!

I truly love this butcher shop. Due to my food allergies, I prefer to buy my meat from them only. They truly go above and beyond for their customers. Not to mention they know what customer service is!! They greet you at the door and make you feel welcomed. You guys rock!!

This is the best butcher in the East Valley!! Do not go to the local grocer for your meats unless you don’t have taste buds and plan on grilling it until it is burnt. When I walked in there, I was greeted by the meat masters and everyone was smiling and happy. They will cut steaks however thick you want, pre make burgers to whichever weight you want, the list goes on and on. Don’t sell yourself short on a good cut of meat.
Put on your jeans, your grilling shoes, and drive on down to Midwestern Meats and let them tell you what you’ll be grilling tonight.
They made my Valentine’s Day for my gal amazing! Prepackaged box of awesomeness for $50 and all the prep work was done. The steaks basically grilled themselves. Potatoes and asparagus were the best I’ve ever had.

From Payson, had Dr app in Mesa, stopped by Midwestern meats , bought 1 Bacon wrapped filet mignon, 1 prime ribeye, and 1 Dry aged steak, $84 and change, i have gotten better meat at Walmart especially when they carried the petite prime filet. Don't waste your money
