Let me tell you something! I had my dish which was a bowl with rice, beans and shredded beef and I was eating it with such a great pleasure! It’s going to be my absolutely favorite place in Key Biscayne! So sad I live in Sunny because I would be eating here every single week!

The vibe is awesome! Staff is the most friendliest! Service is perfect!

We tried multiple new foods for the first time and were delighted by all. The kids loved trying international sodas. The atmosphere is delightful- we ate in the open air seating and adored the plants and laid back vibe. Best empanada ? ALL of them!

I was order online, delivery was fast. But the food was really not my cup of tea. This is the saltiest food I have ever eaten. The shredded pork and taco trio are sooooooo salty, it’s completely inedible. And a hair found in the black beans side. Never go back.

MESTIZO is a wonderful place to eat in Key Biscayne. This cozy and laidback place in key Biscayne is THE place to savor fenomenal real latin food. We had cheese tequeños, a cheese cachapa that was really yummy, their empanadas are very good too. We had meat and chicken empanadas that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The hamburgers come loaded with anything you like on them. Highly recommend everything on the menu.

The service was provided by Cesi. Kudos to management for hiring top notch personnel to serve here. She was wonderful. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the whole menu. Thank you Cesi for making this dining experience a wonderful one.
Kudos to the chef that made the food from scratch, everything was perfect. Luis also was very attentive.

I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is great here.

The place has plenty of parking and their prices are ok.

They also have a cozy and nice outdoor terrace, excellent with the sea breeze of key Biscayne.

Don’t forget to try a drink called frescolita, it’s a red cola really sweet that brings back childhood memories.

Great little restaurant. We came after spending the day by the beach. Our waitress was absolutely fab, she was really sweet and attentive. We had the Mestizo Sampler which I did expect to have a little more diversity, for example, the empanadas were both cheese, as was everything else other than the arepas. It was still nice but if you’re wanting to try the arepas, I’d just go for the arepas appetiser. For main we both had a bowl, the chicken and the parilla bowl. Both were nice and flavoursome tho could do with a little more sauce as they were quite dry without! Overall, I would come back if in the area!

My parents kept sending me photos of their breakfast here so we had to check it out. And it did not disappoint. I had the Avo Eggs Benedict and the Acai bowl. They were both fresh and amazing! I would get them again next time. The service from Mariano was superb. If you want a delicious breakfast in Key Biscayne then check this place out.
