I needed a long, low bookcase, but I wanted it to look like a credenza. I met with several local artisans. Max and Rick stood out with both the technical skill and artistic enthusiasm to do it well at a reasonable price. They did a meticulous job building it, down to the beveling of the top and hardware for the sliding doors. They worked for hours to get the stain color just right for the room. And now it looks like it's always been here. Perfect!

Max built a coffee table for me with a special, sacred Koa wood root ball I had bought and shipped from Hawai’i. During the shipping across the Pacific Ocean the wood broke into two pieces. I found Max and he did his magic! He skillfully joined the pieces, and artfully integrated the wood’s rustic and island soul into a statement piece. He is professional, hardworking, fair and most importantly skilled at what he does. You won’t go wrong with Max.

Max and his father are an awesome team and were extremely helpful in leveling a large walnut slab I had. Not only did they do a great job, but they squeezed me in immediately on short notice to cnc down a quarter inch of epoxy. The machine did in 45 minutes what would have taken me days making a router sled. They let me stick around and watch, gave me some tips and advice, and Max even texted me to let me borrow a tool if I needed it.
Great local spot, reasonable pricing, and I highly recommend them. Either have them make you some furniture, or let them help you in your own project.

I contacted Max to help me with resizing a wooden shower floor base for my corner shower kit. Not only did he saw off the edges to fit the size of my mapping, but he also went above and beyond by sanding and refinishing the raw wood to be smooth & color-matched for me!
