Town of Longboat Key suffers from significant operational inefficiencies.
These inefficiencies lead to negative impacts on employees such as decreased morale, decreased productivity, missed deadlines, increased costs and less services to the residents.

Management fails to hold the standards and basic requirements of employment and are not held accountable or responsible for doing so.
They selectively enforce policies, applying them inconsistently and often unfairly. This creates a chaotic and unpredictable environment for employees and customers. This lack of adherence to standards undermines trust and can lead to legal and ethical concerns.
The company doesn't follow its own rules consistently, leading to unfair treatment and confusion.

The unpredictable and unfair environment created by selective rule enforcement can negatively impact employee morale and erode customer trust.
This summary highlights the negative consequences of a company that picks and chooses which rules to follow.

Inadequate safety training, lack of proper safety equipment, disregard for safety protocols. This puts employees at unnecessary risk and can lead to serious consequences, including fatalities. Non-compliance with regulations can have serious consequences, including fines, lawsuits, and damage to the company's reputation.

You can go above and beyond for The Town and it's residents but will still be treated like dog poop.

I have had the opportunity to interact with the public works department in Longboat probably five or six times in the last two years. Each and everyone of those times I was dealt with in a professional and courteous manner and with the speed I have not seen in any of the other towns that I have worked in. These folks are all top-notch from the gal who answers the phone and runs the place to every department staff member. Keep it up, five stars to everyone!!!!!
