I took my 2 teenage boys and wife out with Chris on a half day charter. Chris was awesome and very welcoming! You never know what you’re going to get when scheduling fishing charters and Chris was amazing! He has an awesome personality and very fun to be around. If you’re looking for a charter with someone who will but you on fish all day, this is the guy! We probably caught 75-100 fish in 5 hours. Since we were from out of town, we chose to catch and release. His boat was clean, equipment worked great and he knows where to go to get you on fish and have an awesome time!

Epic day on the water with Left Coast! My wife and I did a full day trip out to the islands. We landed 6 Yellowtail and a 190 pound bluefin. My wife is from Kansas and had never really been ocean fishing so she was thrilled. Captain Chris was a blast amd very helpful on how to handle everything. Back at the harbor he cleaned and bagged our fish for us. We weighed everything at home and have just over 100 pounds of fish in the freezer. Awesome time!

Always a great time fishing with left coast Sportfishing. Open party boats are too crowded and slow. Left coast’s boats are clean, get you to the fishing grounds quicker and comfortable. Captain Chris is extremely knowledgeable and will put you on the fish. Highly recommend.

Best game getting charter in SoCal. Chris is relentless. When the other boats had given up and turned back, Chris went the extra mile, literally, finding a fish heaven no one else had even hit. The result — surrounded by hundreds of Bluefin — and he delivered once again. You could hear the other captains cursing on the radio, blaming the wind, their crew, anything — while my 18 year old son cranked in a monster Bluefin Tuna big enough to feed the entire block. Hands down, the most dedicated, hard working and successful Charter Captain we have ever worked with. This is the 5th time I’ve taken my son out with Chris and can’t thank him enough. He’s the real thing. And a heck of a nice guy to be around. No one works harder and smarter to put you on the fish you want. Cant wait for the next time Chris. You are a fishing genius!

Went on a full day trip with Chris to San Clemente Island and had an absolute blast! Chris is a complete professional, easy to spend a day with, and capable of putting you onto just about any fish swimming in SoCal water. His boat, "Njord" is functional, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. At the end of the day, we brought back 6 Calico Bass and 5 Bonitas, and Chris even gave us an awesome recipe for a fish-based take on Chilaquiles. If you're looking for a great day of sport fishing with an extremely competent Captain, you can't go wrong with Chris and Left Coast Sportfishing. We made memories that will last a lifetime, and we will be back!
