My dad and I took our bucket list trip here and it was everything we wanted and more. Mike and Tamarin go over and above to give you the best experience possible. The food, the service and the guides were all top notch! The boats are big, comfortable and in great shape. The float plane trip is one of the most iconic Alaskan experiences, not to be missed. The views were beautiful, got to see the bears, and catch some silvers.

Hello Tamarin,||I wanted to send a thank you review for our super fun fishing trip. This has been in the planning for two years now and all our expectations were exceeded. Thanks to you for the entire planning process. Everything went flawlessly from what to bring to the flights. Thanks to Mike for planning each day fishing on the boat or on the river. He seemed to know exactly where we should go to catch the fish! Thanks to the boat captains/guides each and everyday for the total experience and everyday fishing success. We fished with Fritz for three days and he was very intense on making sure we were always catching fish and we did! Whether we were fishing for Halibut, Silver Salmon, or Red Salmon, we had phenomenal success everyday! I have to mention our two river guides, Jason and Thomas. They both were patient with us as this was our first time salmon fishing. I would get a little frustrated at missing one every now and again and for sure used some foul language but neither of our guides were frustrated with us. They just kept encouraging us and made adjustments and eventually we limited out on our salmon catch. We brought back 150 lbs of fish. So much fun!! ||I also have to tell you how kind and attentive Sarah was from the very beginning to the end of our stay. She was wonderful to work with! She was alway available and wanted to make that all our needs were taken care of,....and they were.||The meals,... oh my goodness. The appetizers and gourmet meals were incredibly delicious! I have received some recipes from your head chef since I have been home and oh my….all fantastic!||With regards to the accommodations, so cozy and fun! I took so many pictures of the surroundings morning and night. So picturesque! Alaska and Larsen Bay is so incredibly beautiful! I have to tell you that Alaska and Larsen Bay is prettier than Hawaii! Sometimes a website can capture a beautiful day but we experienced those beautiful days, with pictures of our own, every day! ||To be honest, we were very happy with your staff. Everyone was so polite and accommodating. Everyone would smile and I knew that their main goals was for us to have a wonderful experience. Their goal was accomplished! An experience of a lifetime!! I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our time at Larsen Bay Lodge. Larsen Bay Lodge on Kodiak Island is the Disneyland of Alaska!||We hope to see you again and again. This was an experience of a life time! To be able to go Salmon Fishing and be up close and personal to Kodiac bears was truely amazing. A dream come true!|Right from the beginning Tamarin had great communication. Once we arrived Mike was dedicated to us planning for us to experience what we wanted.|Sarah the customer service person gave us impeccable service and snything we wanted to know.|Jason and Thomas guides were truely committed to being the best service to us.|Cody the pilot was professional and freindly delivering and collecting us safely for Salmon fishing.|Frank was the captain of our sea voyage. Once agsin a delight to be with a give us an amazing sea fishing experience. We were warm and comfortable and hot coffe was great out there on a cold day!|It is so refreshing to be in the natural wild environment where people and wildlife are in harmony with each other. |Larson Bay Lodge runs a truely 1st class business and I highly reccommend it to anyone. Either as a solo or family all are catered for. Thankyou to all that work at this beautiful place making visiting an unforgettable experience for those that choose to go there.

Words cannot express how much we all enjoyed this trip. I do not fish and had the time of my life fishing! We fished on the vessel Viking with Frank as our Captain and Jason as our First Mate. They were both very knowledgeable and professional but also a lot of fun to be around. We caught an abundance of fish from Halibut, Yellow Eyes, Cod, and even a very freaky looking Eel! Seeing the whales might have been the highlight. They are simply majestic. ||Their was one day I did not fish because the water was a little rough. I was not worried about being bored, our cabin, The Lighthouse, had a large screen TV and I had packed books. The owner Mike went out of his way to make sure I was enjoying my day without my travel friends. He offered to take me on a Four Wheeler ride up the mountain to see a waterfall. So happy I took him up on his offer. Breathtaking views all around! ||An absolute must is taking the Seaplane to Salmon fish. Our pilot was Cody and our guide for the day was Thomas. Both were wonderful at their jobs. I am not great at flying and was perfectly at ease in the Seaplane-well, as much at ease as I can be. This is where we fished along side the Kodiak Bears. Thomas was wonderful at teaching me how to cast. A skill I never thought I would conquer. I never imaged I would wear waders and stand in water fishing for Salmon next to momma bears with their cubs. We caught our limit on Salmon that day!||I have to mention that Christian was our driver every morning to take us where we needed to be. He is very outgoing and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him about places we have traveled and places we would like to see.||The food is very good! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The appetizers that are brought to the cabins post fishing are delightful.||As amazing as the fishing is, it is the staff that makes Larsen Bay Lodge that makes this place unforgettable. I know their are many names I am forgetting to include but everyone we met was fabulous at their job. I cannot wait to go back.

My family has been up to stay with Mike and Tamarin a few times now and they are world class. We had an amazing time, they go out of their way to make sure that your trip is one of a life time. They've even added Sarah to make sure that you don't have any needs, she did an amazing job as well as the whole staff. We had great crews on every boat and saw all the wildlife there is to see. Truly a great Alaskan experience, we can't wait to go back.

We chose Larsen Bay Lodge for our first trip to Alaska. We were not disappointed. Highlights weee the amazing LBL facility and setting, nestled into Larsen Bay. Way more scenic and breathtaking than pictures show. The staff were professional, friendly and welcomed us as family. They met or exceeded our expectations. Fishing was good whether ocean or river fishing. We brought home over 200#s of fish. If you’re looking for an epic adventure, highly recommend. We will be back

Awesome father/son trip with another family. Lodging was comfortable and clean with awesome views and great food. Staff (from top to bottom) was both highly professional and extremely helpful. Everyone greeted us w smiles and was very knowledgeable. The captains and guides were awesome and certainly put us on the fish. Wildlife was abundant !!

A trip to remember and I'd recommend it to any fisherman or wildlife enthusiast without hesitation!!

Larsen Bay was a great vacation. Not only is Kodiak a beautiful island to visit but the fishing lodge was highly professional and the staff and service they provide was top notch. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The fishing was awesome and boy was the wildlife abundant. The bears alone were an experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend this Lodge !!
