I dont know how everyone else says they love this school. Its only been a few weeks into school and everyone has been extremely rude to me and my husband. Here are just some examples:
ONE: The teachers are way out numbered by students.
TWO: They had my son loading a daycare bus even though i clearly filled out for all 6 of my kids to be carline (had i not walked up to pick my kids up that day, he would have been on a bus to who knows where).
THREE: The 2nd grade already has a buttload of homework which requires parents to be 100% evolved (I have to time him for reading on a stopwatch and mark how many things he got wrong, how many words he read in a minute, and put down how many he got right, he has a ton of math homework and also is required to ready for 15 mins every night)
FOUR: They allow kids to get punched in the face by other kids (they also dont tell the other parent what reprocuctions are going to take place and/or how it has been handled to make sure it doesnt happen again) and ruin their clothes with blood.. without letting the other parent nicely talk to the guilty kids parents to ask them to replace the nice new shirt (even asked them to request it but they will not).
FIVE: The school does not allow enough time at all for the kids to eat (which is most school now a days but since im here..)..
SIX: Lastly.. well for now.. Talking to the principle today, has done me no good but has actually made it worse for me.. I emailed him regarding all of these issues and he just basically told me the complaint about the teen patrol group being bossy and rude, was going to be taken care of, everything else was pretty much blown off as not being a real issue to them..
I am so upset that my children are going to this school. They came from a private school and this has just been nothing but a nightmare.. i dont get how parents call this a great school. :'(
