I have lived here in Lake Park for 29 years. We have our challenges, but over all, this sleepy community is centrally located, has large lots, sturdy homes, and sidewalks! In the age of zero lot lines, this is a rarity! I can also ride my bike to the ocean in 23 minutes!

I'm a contractor and the town has made it very difficult to get a simple FPL reconnect permit with a valuation of $500. My permit has cleared plan review and I still don't have a permit. After leaving 3 messages over 3 days with no response I went to Town Hall where I was assured my permit would be fixed. The next day I received a call back that it would be fixed. I still don't have a permit.
I shouldn't have to chase the town to do the right thing and get a permit for construction or renovations.
I will never recommend a customer get a permit with the town of lake Park, which is very disappointing.

I found that it was very well organized and Everyone who attended looked marvelous. Other than one man dressed in a T-shirt and shorts was part of the historians Of Lake Park. He could have dressed a little bit more appropriate for the Gayla. Come on man!
