Highly recommend Lake Medical Imagining. The staff in the Lake Sumter office is professional, courteous and personable. The facilities are clean and I’ve never had to wait past my scheduled appointment to be seen. Best part, if you need an X-Ray or CT scan that doesn’t require any prep, you don’t need an appointment and barely any wait time.

Lake medical imaging in Leesburg was a wonderful place to get our required scan completed. The facility kept us informed all along the way with the prep instructions and answered any questions almost immediately. They were also very helpful with obtaining past medical records. All of the staff were very pleasant and we really enjoyed Alana. You can tell that she really loves her job. She made the experience less stressful and was right there to address all of my fathers needs.

After breast cancer 20 years ago, pain in that breast was concerning. My technician explained that previous radiation can be a source and it didn’t necessarily mean cancer reoccurrence. She was right. They expedited my test quickly and I know within 30 minutes my negative results. It is great how Lake Imaging gives immediate results. Also, the mammogram techs I’ve had over the years have always been professional and caring.

Excellent from greeting to departure. My husband went for a scan and he was very nervous. The woman at the front desk handled every person with a greeting, asked their name- please sit down and I will be right with you - and she was. The technicians in the room were extremely nice, fun and down to earth. They made my husband laugh - alot! Which was a blessing because he's been so sad being sick. Thank you to all for being excellent professionals!

Had to reschedule appointment do to work. Thanksgiving this week so had to give up day off. It would have been unpaid. Need more than 16 hr paycheck. Lady that I spoke to was very rude. She acted like I was asking for her first born child. It's a good thing the techs are nice. 11/26/24

The technician that did the mammogram was very nice, professional & helpful. The tech that did my X-ray was also friendly & professional.
The lady that checked me in out front was not friendly at all & very short with me & never made any eye contact. I had everything she asked for but she seemed annoyed that she was having to deal with anyone.

If I could rate my tech alone she would get 10000000 stars. Scarlet was AMAZING for my ultrasound. She was so kind and sweet. She was also very informative. I was being checked for a blood clot and was extremely nervous about the possible outcome. She kept me at ease while explaining what she was doing and what she was looking for. I wish the rest of the staff were half as nice she was. The check in staff seemed very annoyed that I was even there and that I interrupted their conversation by walking through the door.
When I was changing in the dressing room I accidentally neglected to lock the door.
Someone opened the door while knocking (didn’t even knock first and wait for someone to answer). I said “ooops I’m in here” and they quickly closed the door. It was definitely an employee that then said to the other patient something like - it would be nice if people locked the door- and her tone was extremely snarky as if I couldn’t hear her. Had my tech not been amazing I would not be returning. I think the staff could really use a refresher course in customer service.
