Got there right at opening. Staff was incredibly friendly! Ordered an IPA for me and a cider for the wife. Sat outside and enjoyed the sun in their patio area. We just had breakfast, so we didn’t get to try their food menu, but it looked delicious!

Walking back to our truck to head home and saw this place. Kulturhaus Brewing Company. Yup! Very friendly upon walking in, and a great chill vibe. The food menu looks amazing. Ordered a stout and amber, brewed in house. Very good beers! Its in between beachin biscuit and cracked crab. Don't miss it!

Matt was the coolest dude we have ever met at a restaurant/brewery! He was about to close and he let us still order, enjoy a beer, and even talked to us about his story here as he was closing up. Seriously, so welcoming to us as newly engaged couple. We told him we had just gotten our wedding band here in Pismo as we wed in April and he gave us a sticker to remember this place and him.

What a unique place! Really good beer, both locally brewed and guest taps. Especially the local dark Belgian and Double IPAs, and Russian River guest beers.
Combine that with their house made sausages (separately or on a roll), and an array of house pickled vegetables, including sauerkraut.
The service couldn’t have been better. Matt was great.
We went there two days in a row, and will definitely be back next trip.

This place is one-of-a-kind. I think I went back 4 times in 5 days. Matt makes the place extra special. I found him inviting, knowledgeable, and fun to hang with.

Excellent unique beers! Cool space! Incredible food too!! This place deserves way more than 5 stars.

- Kale salad with portobello mushrooms
- Sliders
- Cheesesteak

Even if I am driving past the area on the way somewhere else, I will be making a special stop here.

Excellent beer and super friendly people. It didn’t take long before bartender Matt was chatting with me and the other newcomers and making us feel like regulars! He was very knowledgeable about the beer and a great story teller! Highly recommend stopping in for a great craft beer and a chat with the staff.

Kulturhaus was such a fun authentic Biergarten experience, both the food and drinks are outstanding! The sauerkraut, bratwurst, and fermented toppings were especially good, and the different brews were very creative and flavorful and complemented the food well. Jen and her crew do a great job there, 10/10 would recommend for great craft food and beer!
